  2. Hi! I stay home too. 3 kids ages 7, 9 and 11. I am only 3 and a half weeks post op but am exhausted all the time. I also do everything I am supposed to. When I called my surgeon about it he said our bodies are stressed because of everything going on. He also said if u take meds before surgery and still do they are balancing out. He told me it could take up to 6 weeks to have all your energy back, but for some it takes longer. I hope that brings u some hope. Never hesitate to call your surgeon though also I don't know about you but for me being home with my kids all day and dealing with all the surgery stuff is so tiring. Like cooking for them and cleaning, I haven't been able to keep up on my house since before surgery. Its a disaster.

I struggle more tomarrow is a whole new day...so now u need to take a deep breath, b thankful you got this surgery and think of all the food u would b eating if u didn't have the surgery. I know this is so much easier said then done. But sitting and beating yourself over this is going to make u want to eat more. You are not a failure! You had a tough day. Like I said we all have those and will have them more then once

  16. It seems a majority of people are saying that carbon and gum will stretch out the sleeve .... I specifically asked my surgeon about those and he told me if I can handle carbon then I can drink it. He told me that our stomachs are like rubber bands and if we eat too much we will throw up. Does your surgeons tell u specifically to stay away from these things?
