6 Weeks Post Op & Tired!

Hi. I am 6 weeks post op and have lost 30 pounds since my pre op diet. I am taking all my Vitamins and eating 1000 cal daily give or take. I am a stay at home mom to 2 kids 10&7 so my life is pretty busy. I am so tired & was wondering if anyone else experienced this. I take my B 12. , etc.

I am way more tired than I was pre surgery and plus 30 pounds. I sleep, etc. would love to know if anyone else has experienced this & if/when it passes. I want my old energy back!!!

Thx!!!

Hi! I stay home too. 3 kids ages 7, 9 and 11. I am only 3 and a half weeks post op but am exhausted all the time. I also do everything I am supposed to. When I called my surgeon about it he said our bodies are stressed because of everything going on. He also said if u take meds before surgery and still do they are balancing out. He told me it could take up to 6 weeks to have all your energy back, but for some it takes longer. I hope that brings u some hope. Never hesitate to call your surgeon though ;) also I don't know about you but for me being home with my kids all day and dealing with all the surgery stuff is so tiring. Like cooking for them and cleaning, I haven't been able to keep up on my house since before surgery. Its a disaster.
