Has anyone tried the Ovation hair shampoo/conditioner? Does it really help with hair loss? I am 3 1/2 months out from surgery & my hair is falling out majorly. Would love to know if this is a worthwhile product or a waste of $$$$ Thx!

Hi. I am almost 3 month out & am losing my hair like crazy!!!! I have been taking biotin but wonder how much you all have been taking? 1 time daily or 2? When will my hair atop falling out. Would greatly appreciate any info. Thx

Hi. I am 6 weeks post op and have lost 30 pounds since my pre op diet. I am taking all my Vitamins and eating 1000 cal daily give or take. I am a stay at home mom to 2 kids 10&7 so my life is pretty busy. I am so tired & was wondering if anyone else experienced this. I take my B 12. , etc. I am way more tired than I was pre surgery and plus 30 pounds. I sleep,etc. would love to know if anyone else has experienced this & if/when it passes. I want my old energy back!!! Thx!!!

I have nothing against Dr Nick's PA or seeing her. She is informative & very competent. I DO have a problem with not seeing my surgeon in the hospital post surgery & also not knowing upfront that I would not see my doctor again after he performed the surgery in the hospital or in his office. For that reason I feel blindsided. I would have chosen a different surgeon had I known this. I would have chosen smaller office with more doctor involvement post surgery. Just my feelings and my .02 cents. To each his/her own. Thx.

To Amy--- I live close to Northpark Mall in Dallas. The fact that I only see The PA makes me wish I had chosen Dr Davidson at Presby. I was torn b/t the 2 & chose Dr Nick. Feel like a number in the sweatshop of VSG. Just my .02 cents. Technically he is very competent & would recommend him for that reason alone. But I think it is CRAZY I never saw him after surgery....cannot wrap my brain around that. Need to move on but it makes me angry that he never came by----

Has anyone read any good/inspirational books from people who have had VSG or doctors who perform it? Would love to find something good to read on the topic. Thx!

Dr nick was my surgeon too. Did u like him? I didn't like the fact he never came to see me post surgery. Best of luck getting back on track!!

I am 4 weeks out tomorrow & asked if I could take Motrin & they told me it could cause an ulcer----it is amazing all the different opinions from the surgeons!!! I forgot to ask when I could have it....hence, the post. Thx!! Congrats on being a week out!

Can sleevers ever have Motrin or Advil again? If yes, how long after surgery can u have it? Thx!!!!!
