  1. I know how you are feeling. My day was Memorial Day. But even if you tried you would be in so much pain. Just think of the good thing you have just done for yourself!
  2. I have plain yogurt and I think I'm going to mix a packet of Liption Onion Soup mix in it! Yummy! Kinda like sour cream! I never think out of the box.
  3. Yes I do! (smile) Lots of greek yogurt and tuna salad. Not very much of anything. I've had chicken, ground beef and turkey, and fish (fried )
  4. Woke up this morning and was back at 405. Lost 3lbs in my sleep!! LOL I hope the stall is broken!!
  5. I'm 7 weeks post - op and I thought I was at a stall until I hopped on the scale tonight and I'm up 3lbs. No Bueno! I blame me starting regular food. Although I hated it I did better with a limited amount of food I can eat. I gotta shake this because it's messing with my head. I'm currently 408 starting weight was 448. Before gain I was 405 and excited to leave the 400's for good. Why can't I escape and get to the 300's?
  6. What are the benefits of a wonton wrapper
  7. I feel like I'm messing up. With the other stages I knew what I could and could not eat. I feel so lost. I can't eat much of anything but I don't feel like I'm doing it right. What are you eating at 7 weeks?
  8. I feel like I'm messing up. With the other stages I knew what I could and could not eat. I feel so lost. I can't eat much of anything but I don't feel like I'm doing it right. What are you eating at 7 weeks?
  9. I know this is a difficult time. I pray you have a strong support system. Keep positive! Thank God you found out. Everything happens for a reason. Good Luck with your surgery. I pray the Docs found it early enough. Find strength when you like at your daughter not sadness. Hugs
  10. Great Job! How is your skin holding up?
  11. I feel like I'm dehydrated. I try really hard to drink! I'm making a conscious effort because I battled constipation this weekend and dark urine. Since we are ingesting more Protein we need to protect our kidneys and colon. SF Ice pops, Water, crystal light etc; I must admit I get a little thrown off course because I eat every two hours and then you can't drink before you eat and after you eat then I forget to drink in between. My life is hectic but I have to make it work. We all do.
  12. I like Cardio Party http://www.4shared.com/video/eS7LfUcz/Cardio_Party_Mix_1aviff.html%20
  13. Curious? Why are you on liquids? I see you have a 77lbs loss? How far along post-op are you?
  14. Great List! I'm 6 weeks post-op and have had similar eperiences. I'm looking forward to reaching this milestone.
  15. I've made this mistake and forgot I'm not suppose to drink soon after eating and up came my drink and then the food. SMH It's difficult for me not to drink before and after eating but I'm a work in progress.
  16. I was sleeved on 5/17/12. I'm down 43lbs. I'm still on the Soft Stage and do to graduate to Regular food on July 7th! Yay!! I still get a little burning/sore sensation to the right of my larger incision. Doc says it's where they stitched my stomach internally and it's still healing. I was told I can start swallowing pills but I'm scared. I'm deficient in Vitamins A, D and Iron. I start taking the Vitamin D soft gels on Monday!! Gulp! It's still a challenge to get in my fluids. I feel amazing. No pain, I walk, I stand with no problem. I'm so happy I did this!!
  17. I hate the slimies. It happens when I eat too much. It's been happening since I've started soft food. I don't always get the pre-drool but sometimes my mouth get filled with saliva and I feel like I need to vomit. I've tried to let the feeling pass but no luck. The only way I feel better is to get it out.
  18. I love your enthusiasm. I was super organized pre-op too. I had a little brown book I wrote questions in and a folder that I kept everything in. I had lists of food etc; I'm 6 weeks post-op and life has settled in and unfortunately my organization has fallen off. I think life takes over. Post-op it's an emotional, mental and physical recovery. I think my frustration with the stages threw me off track. LOL However, keep it up I applaud your efforts!!
  19. I have issues with getting my water in and after eating the broth. I didnt eat the wonton. Hubby wouldn't let me even try it. LOL I'm thirsty and want to drink badly.
  20. I was in the clear stage for 1 weeks, Protein liquid and puree for 3 weeks a now soft stage for 2 weeks. I had a baby ninja and got creative with my pureeing. I also live off of cream of wheat. Towards the end I wanted the sensation from chewing really bad!
  21. Today we had chinese food. I didn't know what to order I opted for egg drop and out of habit I said egg drop wonton. I fished out all the bits of egg and now I want to eat a small piece of the wonton. I even broke a few open and ate the meat inside. But I'm afraid to bite the wonton. Is a wonton in the same category as bread, rice and Pasta. Stats: I am 5 weeks post op. I'm going on my 2nd week of soft foods then I'm on regular food.
  22. I second that!! Today I started soft and OMG the scrambled egg was DELICIOUS!!
