Update; I called the doctor and he has told me to lower all my basal and bolus. so that my sugars dont drop so low so thats what i did know i think this is going to be much better well i hope he also said it might be time to take the insulin pump away since my sugars are so low since i been banded.. thank you all for the advice.. and keep me updated please. I Have diabetes and i use an insulin pump. since i got banded i had a lot of low blood sugars. Has anyoe experience the samething? Know that i started eating food my sugars spike alot what should i do any advices please help

I have seen those in the store but i was afraid to use i think i will try them to see how it taste

The band is helping but you are doing it to i been post op 4 weeks and i still get fuller faster. your doing good keep it up

I was also banded on Feb 2012, and i tell you its been very hard for me to get all my protein.. the new products i have had is the Glucerna hunger smart shakes which i love the flavor and that i can keep it down. I also take the Crystal light energy and i love it.

it was the scab that came off and it took the new skin off it was bleeding but after i used saline water to clean it. It stop bleeding. I called the Dr and all he said was that if it gets puff and red to come to the office and just to air it out. but today it looks dry no bleeding and it looks like is forming a new scab

I am going on vacation to my island on sunday and my question is how can i tell my family and friends that if its ok if i serve myself with out being rude.. Because not many people know about my banding.. any advice

it was so hard for me to go for a run or go for a jog because i was so big and i got tierd easily.

I think you should call them asap and let them know whats going on and then they should admitt you because the pain is horrible and you might need ivy fluids to stay hydrated,,,, I wish you the best keep me posted on how things go

I had My first TOM a couple of week after my surgery and it was very painful that i couldnt get up and since i still cant take tylenol pills what i did was take the tylenol codein that the surgeon prescribed after my surgery and that help me alot

how come they sent you home.. when I had surgery i was there overnight and i didnt have any liquids. I think that the liquid you vomited was the anesthia because it happen to me also. hope you feel better soon i know the way you feel

how long have you been post op

its been really hard for me to stop eating the stuff i like but i have a very good support team and they watch everything y eat i havent gone yeat for my first adjustment so i dont really know how it feels ..

Hello everyone i got the band put in on feb 22, 2012

I had the same itchyness in my incisions and all i used was benadryl which that help me alot... But today i noticed that the scab on my port incision came off and it was bleeding of course i an worried about it and its red in that section but its in side. any advice
