  1. 8 oz of Ricotta cheese 1/2 cup grated Parmesan 1 large Egg, beaten 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning salt & pepper to taste 1/2 cup Marinara Sauce 1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella Cheese Mix ricotta cheese, parmesan, beaten egg, seasonings together and place in a oven proof dish. Pour marinara on top and top with mozzarella cheese. Bake it in the oven @ 450 for about 20-25 minutes (best) or nuke it till hot and bubbly. I usually made it first in the oven and heated the leftovers in the microwave. This one is yummy... It's from Theworldaccordingtoeggface.com

  3. I was sleeved on 3-1 the first two weeks the weight came right off. Now I stall out for a few days/week or so and then lose only a pound! I know whatcha mean. I'm feeling very disappointed too! I think it's very normal, but I still don't like it! Starting weight was 187 I am currently 155. So only 32lbs!!

  10. I am able to eat 1/2 cup of protein per sitting and a bite or two of veggies. I see people on here saying how they are only able to take a bite or two of food etc. How much could you consume at about two months out. I'm worried I am able to eat too much!!!
  11. I dont even remember the exact reason why the doc said I should get it. But it was something along the lines of when you had some sort of trauma and they insert a tube in you it could so damage because your anatomy is different! Something like that!
  12. I don't currently have one, but I do plan on getting one. My doctor gave me the form to order one as she recommends it.
  13. I was sleeved march 1. Weight before surgery 211 weight day of surgery 187 current weight 159. As you seen in one of my posts I had a slip up too with sweets. Been excercising at the 3-5 days a week. 3-5 miles bike/treadmill then 20 mins of working arms/legs. I have been losing slowly. I just got over a two week stall! I too feel great. Have an unlimited amount of energy as well!!
  14. Thanks everybody for your encouraging words! I am defiantly not going to repeat this daily! It's still a struggle to make the right food choices!
  15. Why does the bad stuff go down so easy!! When I eat my protein it's much harder to get down and I can't eat nearly as much of it. I am worried I won't win this battle if I do little cheats like that. I am only two months out from surgery and down 32lbs. Sometimes I feel like I just loose control and have to have something sweet!!!! Arg! So mad at myself!
  16. I made this today!!! Soooooo yummy!! I ate it for lunch- gonna have it for dinner too!!
  17. I have the same problem with my platelets. I was diagnosed with ITP back in 2000. Steroids didn't work for me either. My platelets were as low as 4 thousand. They were going to remove my spleen but decided to intravenous meds - immune gobulion- spelling could be off. It help my platelets to start producing. I sat at 30,000 for a few years. I wish him luck. I used kaiser permanente at the time at they were great 650-742-2173
  18. When I was going through the whole weight loss process in the beginning : seeing the nut and case manager etc. What struck me odd was that half of the people telling me how to eat and what to do to live a healthy lifestyle where overweight! I wanted to ask them why they haven't got the surgery? It kinda made me wonder if they knew something I didn't! Anyhow I didn't ask them because I felt like it would be rude! I do however tell my overweight friends about it and highly reccomend it to them!
  19. I think I am going to start drinking them!!! What kind do you all drink?
