  1. Thanks so much for all the well wishes and prayers. Greatly appreciate it. Had surgery yesterday. Dr said it was text book perfect. Out of it yesterday, just wanted to sleep. No eating or drinking surgery day. Started clear liquids today. Was able to walk a lot more. Going home tomorrow. Actually was not as bad as I thought. Thank God.

  4. I'm having mine in Mobile. Dr. Ringold. Surgery is tomorrow.
  5. I'm so nervous. I know it's the right decision. I'm just afraid of pain and complications. Any pointers, advice ect. Do I need anything at the hosp? Good luck to all those whose surgery is this week. I will see y'all on the other side.
  6. Had to switch to clear liquid on day 8. I'm starving. Lol. But not citrate. Thank goodness.
  7. Hi guys, I'm right there with you. Today is day 9 of liquid diet. One more day to go. Surgery is Tuesday morning. I'm so nervous.

  10. I'm also on the pre-op full liquid diet. No veggies nothing. I'm on day 7 of 10. First 5 days were hard. I think it's getting easier thou. Start the clear liquid tomorrow. Surgery Tuesday. At the point where I'm crying easily and looking for reasons to canx it. But going to stick it out.

  13. I've looked everywhere for the calcium citrate in chewable or liquid. Could not find it. I bought the tablets and a pill crusher. Is that bad?
  14. You walked with the catheter and the drain? Oh no sounds hard. Hope mine goes as well. Mine is on 6/19. Start my liquid diet on Saturday.

  17. I called and they said he will fix it at the same time as bypass. I Should not even tell the difference.

  19. This is a great story! Very inspiring to those of us who are waiting til our surgery date. Thank you! I still want to back out because of being afraid. But I know it's the right thing for me.

  21. We live about 45 minutes away. There ok with going home after release from hosp.
  22. Thanks guys. I'm going to give them a couple of days then call the dr office and ask. I'll let you know what happens.
  23. I had my pre op testing today. Had an upper Gi, ultrasound, X-ray,EKG,lab work, and pulmonary tests. My surgery is 6/19.
