  1. Thank you! I have never seen them but I'm definately going to look on our trip there tomorrow.
  2. I didn't know that you could dump with this surgery. I went in for my checkup at 3 mos and explained that all prtoein powders and shakes cause immediate diarriah and doc tells me - you're dumping. Paperwork I had said dumping only happened with bypass. I also suffer from major constipation and slimes too- expected those but would love to be out of this stage! For those of you taking miralax - is it safe to take everyday and does it cause cramping? I tried the smooth move tea but cramps were horrible. Never knew I wouldn't be hungry EVER - I could probably go days without eating or drinking. I have to eat and drink at set times or I won't get in my liquid and food for the day! I wish I had known years ago that this surgery was an option to get rid of my ulcers and severe acid reflux. I still take an acid pill here and there but am officially ulcer free!
  3. I do the sugar free vitamin c drops when I am craving something sweet. They are like hard fruit flavored candy and up my intake of vitamin c.
  4. April 13th. 277 surgery day & 206 today! Much happier now than I was the first month or two from surgery.
  5. I live in Vegas there are lots of healthy dining options and even hotels with gyms and pools if u are that motivated (I'm not LOL) You can make it thru a weekend in Vegas! Hope u have fun!!!
  6. I confess I still see the same fat girl in the mirror. I confess I will do cardio occasionally but have only done weights once. I confess I don't know what to do about my bad feelings towards hubby. He needs this surgery but won't get it and isn't motivated to work out, eat less or lose weight and I dont want to be a nag and I am sickened that I used to be that way! I confess I waste a lot of food. I am rarely hungry but if I really crave something I will buy it take a bite and toss the rest. I confess I didn't know it was possible to dump with the sleeve and just learned how to work around this and still get in 25 grams of fiber and 60+ grams of protein a day.
  7. Another thing to try is smooth move tea if u like hot tea.
  8. My original PCP told me to go back to weight watchers and not do the surgery so I switched to a different PCP before surgery. the original doctor still sent my weight history and records and I was approved and now go to a PCP that supports WLS.
  9. SW 226.6 CW 206 GW 199 Well not going to make it to my revised goal weight/onderland by the end of this round, but I did bypass my initial goal weight already and a loss is a loss. Looks like everyone is doing great! Can't wait to see everyones overall losses come next week.
  10. Getting closer! SW 226.6 CW 207.8 GW 199
  11. If I lived by you I'd definitely pay you to do my makeup when we went out ! I suck at doing my own makeup and used to go to the Mac counter before I went out so I could have my makeup done there and buy the lipgloss and liner so I could touch that up.
  12. Love the blue green and purple - reminds me of a peacock!
  13. I have been thinking of ordering a few boxes of the Medifast breakfasts - they have cereal (like cheerios) and oatmeal. I think they have 11 grams of protein per serving and their servings sizes are small. There was another company I saw that has prepared meals like healthy choice but I don't remember who it was. And I like their hot cocoa too but it doesn't settle well with me - too much dairy.
  14. It's been quite a while for me too! I want to catch up to Star - and be in onederland
  15. Top weight & surgery weight were the same for me 277. Currently weigh 210. Sleeved 4/13. I'm 5'9" too!
  16. A bunch of people at work do hcg - it works well from the groups results we have here. Only thing I've heard negative was that if u go back to unhealthy eating again u do regain weight but that's true with every plan - even wls.
  17. Thanks for the suggestions everyone!!! I will try swapping these in.
  18. I just went in for my 4 mos check up and dr was the one who told me switch to bars since the shakes would cause dumping
  19. Does anyone have some breakfast ideas that include protein? Looking for something to eat besides protein shakes, eggs or dairy (all cause horrible side effects when I eat them) Thanks all!
  20. I was sleeved on 4/13 and can eat between 2.5 to 3.5 oz depending on what it is. Met with the doctor Friday who said flucuation in amounts depends on ToM and I don't have a stricture.
  21. I have been losing about 2# a week now. So definitely a lot less than I was losing at first. I haven't checked on ketosis but I eat more than 60g of carbs a day so probably not.
