Hello April Sleevers!!

I had surgery April 24, 12 & have lost 59lbs...wish it was more but unfortunatly I had a few complications. I am just feeling human again...I hemmoraged, transfusions etc 21 days in hospital over first 10 weeks. I have had multi kidney stone issues from not getting enough fluids etc.OUCH!!

I had "maladaptive malnutrition" from nothing staying down but Im now able to eat a few bites and keep down most of my liquid protein...it was a battle but I feel I am finally on the mend and loving losing weight...food no longer is the center of my world...I am so ashamned that food became my drug of choice...but thats another post another day. Gastric sleeve now rocks!!

I've had kidney stones too,but I drink so much freaking water it's nuts.. But I had surg on April 24 weighed in before I got to hosp at 290 .no pre op diet IM now 205..85 pounds gone

I was sleeved April 17!! Starting weight was 268 and I'm at 203 now.... -65 pounds yay!! It's taken a lot of work and sacrifice but I'm loving my new life

Aug. 13 I had my surgery. What us the normal weight loss after surgery! I don't owe a scale and planning not to purchase one. My undies fit loose. lol!

April 16 here. I am so happy with my loss so far. I am down 69 pounds since my surgery date. Down 100 pounds since my pre-op plan. I could not be happier. I am a week ahead of the goal I set for myself as of today. Love my sleeve. I went down to the basement to retrieve my old work suits, etc. They all fit now and look so fantastic. Plus, it saves me having to buy new clothes right now. Congrats to all of us. We are rocking!!!

Much happier now than I was the first month or two from surgery.

April 30th.... down 52 lbs from 254 pre-surgery. The loss feels so slow even though I guess it really isn't... nice to know that I'm right in the ballpark with others. Thanks for your posts!

Awww I was thinking of checking in all my april sleevers just yesterday so glad y'all started this thread I was sleeved April 11, 2012 (preop wt) 268 as of today I'm currently 206 and am feeling amazing 62 lbs down now I can't wait to get to onederland hopefully these 6 lbs will go easy !!!!
