I'm in the same boat, Beautiful. You don't want to know how long I spent on this board and YouTube this morning.

No date yet, but I complete all my requirements in April. I'm shooting for late June, as soon as school let's out (I'm a kindergarten teacher and want to see my babies til the end of the year).

This is a great question. I an a new Keurig addict and and trying to finish the mounds of kcups I have accumulated before my surgery. It's hard to resist the urge to buy more. Lol

Like you, I was set on the band, had no idea the sleeve even existed. After reading about the complications I was turned off to the idea of WSL at all, but decided to go to the information session just because. Sooooo glad I did. I learned about the sleeve and once again felt comfortable with the idea of WLS. This is a great forum that tells it like it is - the good, the bad, and the ugly. Keep doing your research, I'll meet you on the loser's bench.

Yay! Congrats on the approval and surgery date!!

I don't have a date yet, but if it's left up to me I'll shoot for June 20th. I finish work on June 19th and would love to start my summer off with a brand new me.

She Comes from a good place. She had a rough go of it and doesn't want to see me go through that. She also knows that I can get it off without surgery. But as I explained to her, without the restriction, the weight will most definitely come back. She is being supportive and will go with me to the intake session to ask any questions I may not think of.
