  1. Benin, When do u plan on having ur surgery? I'm n the process of setting my date with dr rod n Juarez. I believe I'm going to do it early sept. I choose him for the same reasons.
  2. Thanks everyone for the feed back
  3. I am considering going to Mexico for my surgery...can u tell me of your experience and what doctor u used? I would truly appreaciate it. I've been wanting this surgery for awhile but my BMI is 38 n insurance wi not cover. My last choice is to pay out of pocket but I don't have that type of money put up for this surgery n the US.
  4. I live in St Louis n I'm scared about doing the surgery. I just finished my paperwork for depaul hospital weightloss center. So now I'm playing the waiting game to c if I'm approved. Good luck on your journey!!
  5. I'm new on this site as well. I just had my appointment with my primary doc about the surgery. So he filled out the physician referral form n I need to turn it n plus the other forms. I'm scared n so many ways...is my insurance going to cover it, how to maintain the new lifestyle, will I have support, n it's surgery. I know it's not open heart surgery but still it's my first surgery. EVER!!! If you guys don't mind posting your starting BMI's n how u have coped with the new life changes Thanks!
  6. If you guys don't mind me asking what your starting bmi was? I am new to this and I'm ready to start my process for the Sleeve. I don't think my insurance will cover it but I just want to ask around to get an idea.
