Feels Like Food Is Stuck In Throat
I know what your talking about too. I also take omeprazole, it's a different sensation than acid reflux. It was worse when I first started sifts and solids. I'm three months out and it is a lot better now.

3 Month Post -Op Before And After Photo
Just wanted to give all you pre-op sleevers some encouragment. It seems like yesterday I was just in your shoes. Only 3 short months ago I could barely walk on pain medication and my blood pressure was sky high on medication for that, always out of breath, and prediabetic. Today, I can run up my stairs, walk 5 miles, hike down a canyon, ride a bike, I am off blood pressure medication and no more pain medication (other than tylenol sometimes) Hang in there, it is so worth all. It gets so much better!!! I have my life back!

Ghrelin Hormone
Once I started thick to solids I don't get that hungry. I have some head hunger in the evenings, but that is just habit.

Help.... My Head!
Sounds like a migraine. Also, check your blood pressure to make sure it is not high. Keep hydrated. Hope you feel better soon.

Not Pregnant, But Have Morning Sickness, New Alarm Clock?
Could also be dehydration. I experienced similar feelings when I woke up because I wasn't drinking while sleeping obviously. I can still wake up almost feeling hung over, and I know I need to drink some water. I leave a glass of water on my night stand and drink anytime I wake up in the middle of the night, and try and drink a lot before going to bed.

Very Low Energy & Weak
Talk to your doc and see if he/she can run some lab work. Also, maybe talk to your nut to go over the foods you are eating and see if there is anything you can change to get more min and Vito's out of each bite. Hope you feel better soon. I'm just over six weeks, I have some fatigue issues still, but I feel pretty good overall. I still can't get in over 600 calories yet.

Will I Ever Enjoy Eating Again?
I'm 6 weeks out and I am enjoying food again. It's not a lot of food and if you don't get caught up in the head game that you have finish everything on your plate then you can actually enjoy the tastes of each food more. I had a very rough start with some complications. I felt just like you wondering would I ever enjoy food again. I think I am in the majority when I say it gets better and easier every week. Some things work, some don't. Some days i dont feel hungry at all and forget to eat when i am supposed to and some days i actually feel hungry. Its nice to satisfy that hunger with just a yogurt, or one slice of deli meat and chees rolled up. I enjoy watching the scale go down and inches melt away. I know I will never get to gorge myself with an entire plate of food again, but I don't miss it. This was an opportunity for a second chance and I have no regrets.

Alcohol?
I am six weeks out and my Nut sat not to drink because she has seen too many people, especially early in post op, that have had severe liver complications due to drinking soon after getting sleeved. This is due to an average higher alcohol blood count than usual which is harder for liver to process. I would say just because you think or feel you can tolerate it, you will end up taxing your other organs instead. Let your body heal and adjust before adding in toxins it has to try and filter on top of already trying to heal and repair tissue. It will also dehydrate you. I just came back to home town and was with all my old friends and family at the old hang out bar/grill and I sipped on ice water all night and I had a great time. It's not worth it, take control of your entire health and body. Take care of all your organs, not just the stomach.

3 Week Stall
I stalled at about two and a half weeks and it lasted about two weeks. However, my measurements were still decreasing, about 5 inches fell off in that period. So keep recording inches to help stay motivated. After the two weeks, all of a sudden in a matter of only 10 days I lost 9 pounds. Now it's just coming off right now at a rate of one or two pounds a week. If I stall again, I'm not going to sweat it and continue to measure. Also make sure you record everything you are eating and drinking. If you still can't seem to get things moving you can bring it to your nut and see if there is any adjustments to diet that may help.

Yaay For Noticeable Progress!
