Try shocking your body again and do fluids only, sometimes going all the way back to the begining brings on a new perspective.

Thats awesome! Congrats on completing the tri! I have been dreaming of being able to compete in Tri's for awhile! And now that I am about to be sleeved, it is going to come true! I will be sleeved in two weeks, and for Christmas I am going to buy myself a nice road bike! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! My biggest concern is nutrition and hydration. I have been addicted to beginnertriathlete.com the last 3 months

I am a year out now. For the first few months I didn't do much except walking and regular daily running around. I was already losing fairly steadily and at the end of the day i didn't feel like I should add it in.
Two months ago I started weight training, following the New Rules of Lifting for Women, and I LOVE IT!!! I have had to work very hard to increase the amount I eat (I am still at 1000 cals max), focusing on Protein. I do not think I could have done this a few months ago to be honest. When I don't get my max amount of food, I can tell when I am in the gym. It just isn't as great of a workout.
I currently weight lift 3 times a week. Each exercise day is a full body workout that lasts from an hour to two hours depending on which one I am doing.
About once or twice a week I will add in some cardio, but I prefer "high intensity interval training" over just plain running/etc. Basically I jog for a few mins, then I walk, then I jog, then I walk, etc.

My doc finally cleared me to be back in the Water again 15 days post op. I have a pretty crazy workout schedule. I play collegiate Water polo 4 nights a week for 2.5 hours, and I swim on the University’s Master's Swim team on my lunch 3 days a week for 1.5 hours. The first 2 days were the roughest, I was extremely sore and exhausted. Doing this much working out on such little calories is daunting and not for the faint of heart. I'm 6 week out tomorrow and don't remember the last time I felt this good!
I will say that doing team/club sports is night and day different from going to the gym on my own. I'm lucky to stay focused enough to do 45 minutes on an elliptical or treadmill, whereas when I get in the water I'm not staying place, I'm engaging with other people, being pushed by my team members, and have a coach guiding my workouts. I never get bored. My mindset is not to just survive practice, but to be one of the best, swim the fastest, throw the ball the hardest, and be an MVP. When I do get out of the water whether it was water polo or masters swim- I'm Jello, my body is completely exhausted and I feel like an Olympic champion (minus those sweet little gold medals). I have several fitness goals this semester, and I'm so motivated to get into the best shape ever, regardless of what the scale says. Our first ranked NCAA tournament is this weekend. Bet your bottom I've been going all Kong Fu Panda on my workouts-and the bonus?- I'm going to lose weight. I <3 my sleeve.

Thanks for making me smile. I feel sooooooooooo much better without the extra weight. It's like I didn't know how much the fat was making me feel miserable until I started to lose it and feel better. It was like I forgot how a body should move, and feel.
I've dropped out of the fat girls club but still haven't joined the skinny girls club, because I still have some weight and curves...which is all good with me!

Ditto what PdxMan said. I felt better and had more energy as soon as I upped my carb intake, and it didn't affect my loss negatively at all.
Your loss doesn't seem all that slow to me, either. I lost, on average, just over six pounds a month and you're at just under six pounds a month.
I had extreme fatigue and memory issues and found out around 18 months out that I was seriously deficient in B12 and Iron. I got on a new Iron supplement (the same one I normally take when pregnant) and take B12 shots and it made a huge difference in how I feel.
The best way to know how you're doing is to track your food intake (as is, without changing it up) for a few days and then see where you're at. You might be restricting too much for your body's needs, or too little to lose. We can't know how to help you until we know how you're doing. So why not track for a few days and come back here with your info and ask for help at that point? Far too many people approach the lifelong sleeve as a short term diet, restricting their caloric and carb intakes much lower than is sustainable long term. You may have fallen into that, or you might be trying to eat to the old 1,200 calorie diet we all did so many times before surgery. Every body's needs are different, but as a general rule, reducing your caloric intake (assuming it's not already drastically low) by 20% and eating 40% Protein, 30% carbs and 30% fats seems to work for most people.
Good luck, and if you do come back and post again I'm sure you'll get more helpful responses.

I agree it's all on how you feel and the way your clothes fit. We focus so much on the number we forget that it's just a number and not who we are

Yesterday, I was whining about how my scale was saying I weighed 180.0, but it refused to go below that amount.
One of my friends suggested I cut off a pinky finger. He asked when do we ever use both pinkies at the same time anyway?
And today, my scale gave in and let me know that I weigh 179.4.
Even better -- I still have all my body parts and didn't even get a drastic haircut to make it happen.
I am loving that my scale is moving down again!

you need to have at least 60g of Protein per day. I drink Isopure. I hate that taste before on pre op diet but this is only drink which goes down fine after surgery in the beginning.
15g of protein per 8oz bottle. and I also counting it as liquid
For shakes I am drinking Atkins advantage but from 11oz container I only can finish 5oz at the time. and I need to wait another 2 hours. I don't want to have more.
are you allow eat yogurt? looks like you are on the second week.
if yes. might be try mix Greek yogurt with either Water or skim milk and add Protein Powder. It has less calories then atkins shakes. and in 2 glasses has 60 g protein which I need per day.
