Yeah you never really feel full on liquids. When you start to actually eat food mainly your Protein you will definitely know what full feels like. Congrats on your sleeve!

Increase your Protein and fluids. I finally moved the scale. My nut said that around this time the body goes into hibernation. Your weight loss slows you feel tired and your body is holding everything waiting for you to go back to old eating. You can trick it by adding the Protein and Water and upping exercise. It will start soon hang in there.

Yes, and you will continue to have it after each milestone. But just know you will hit that mile stone, please don't let it stress you. You will have some stalls along the way I had one in week 3 and then in week 4 I began to move again. When you hit your stalls it's either your not getting in enough Protein or your not getting in enough liquids. Modify it and you will be fine, good luck on your journey!

We are the same, I was sleeved 11/6 and I am officially today down 25lbs since surgery. I had a stall in week 3 and I know there will be other stalls but I know in the end this was the best decision for me. I haven't started exercising yet but I will begin this Monday I think it's time good luck!

    Sleeved 11/8 - Weight 282
    1 week post-op: 268 -14lbs
    2 weeks post-op - 265 -3lbs (17lbs total)
    3 weeks post-op - 262 -3lbs ( 20lbs total)
    1 month post-op - 258 -4lbs (24lbs total since surgery)
I make sure I get at least 60grams of Protein everyday (usually by Protein shakes) and then I eat maybe an additional 9 grams throughout the day and calories are around 600-640 a day.
I haven't started to exercise yet, but soon enough!

Sleeved Nov 7th and as of a week or so ago down 30 lbs. this past weekend I had to buy a new pair of jeans because we were going to a theatre and my jeans were very big in the butt area! When I tried on the jeans (usually I grab a 22 or 24 size) I had to ask for a 20... Then I tried on a size 18! I walked out of that store with a smile in my face and a pair of 18 jeans! It was then I thought that my scale is not what I need to look at everyday. It's how I feel in my new jeans and the inches I have lost already. I'm not measuring myself to see how many inches I lost, I'm just going to do the best I can and enjoy my new jeans and when I go see my doc in 2 weeks I will step on the scale. I hope in January I can buy a pair of size 16's !!

One of the top predictors of long term success with WL is tracking your food/exercise etc.
I weigh myself daily - I no longer am swayed if I am at the same weight for a while, as the trend continues downward - work through those stalls.
I track calories, Protein, carbs, fat, and Fiber. I also keep track of my liquid intake, my Vitamins, meds (very few now) - I do have a myfitnesspal login but I use good old paper journals, and track exercize/walking with Runkeeper.
Carbs and Water consumption seem to have the most significant impacts on how I feel, and how much I lose. I am a pound and a smidge from Onederland - a place I have been hanging out at for a couple of weeks (also a serious set point from my long ago past) Looking forward to seeing a 1 in front, rather than a 2...waay better than the 3

Most bariatric surgeons advise against regular coffee drinking. its reported that coffee stimulates gastroesophageal reflux (heartburn), stimulates acid production, and stimulates the colon and makes you "go". Coffee is a complex chemical, and much of the effect is not solely caused by caffeine. So decaffeinated coffee does not have significant advantages over caffeinated coffee.
It also may irrate the new stomach wall.

I track everything at 10+ months out. When I got away from doing that, I stalled - BIG TIME.
My dietitian has me on 1200 calories, minimum 60 g Protein, limited carbs, but not a specific number.
I feel much better since I've been tracking what I eat again.

Early on, I logged everything on MFP. My main focus was quantities, Protein, water/fluids and to a lesser extent calories and carbs but i had been given guidelines.
Working with my NUT, at some point she had me move away from the eating by the numbers and I don't track now, but do "count" Protein.
As part of my push to get to goal, I am going back to counting protein and carbs starting today...woo hoo!
I valued highly my early experience of tracking EVERYTHING - and that included the weighing and measuring. This helped alot with the whole "have I had enough? too much"" doubts in those early months. I was trained to and still eat this way - small portions. Eat from a side dish using appetizer utinsils. I think it is one of the most important keys to success in this journey. When you read about people saying how they "can" eat alot after a year out or whatever from surgery... well, that is probably true of most of us. If you never get in the habit of doing it, you don't know if you "can" or not, you just DON'T since you aren't really hungry anyway. This is the mental/head part of this whole deal. It seems so clear in the early months - well of course I can't eat much - but over time that changes and the habits you establish now will determine whether you are crying or leaping with joy at your 9, 12 month and beyond milestones.
    I am excited for you!!!!

Ditto, was diagnosed last year right after labor day weekend. Was on insulin and then metaformin now nothing. I actually did a sugar reading just a minute ago 87, I remember just a month ago having to take the metaformin and then having to take a shot because my sugar was never below 150. I know it's because I just didn't care and the feel that food gave me was more important than my health. Not anymore, i am taking my heath by the balls and I am running with it!

My surgeon told me kind of the same thing, but just used different words. I think he said that a few months after surgery that it becomes more "accommodating". He compared it to an old shoe that is not quite as stiff as it was when it was brand new and will eventually be easier to get your "foot" (food) into it.

Well here is update number 2 out of HOPEFULLY 5...I am updating my experience every 20 pounds and I honestly didn't think it would be at WEEK 20 before I got to 40 pounds. Yes i am VERRRRYYY happy that that 40 pounds is long gone BUT i am creeping up on that 6 month mark. I really hope the slow down doesn't kick because I am already going very sllllooowwww, pretty much this whole time I have been. I really think that it has to do with my hormones tho (PCOS). I am working out, doing my Protein, and drinking my Water, there's not too much more I can do really-maybe up my workouts some more but that is going to be really hard for me to do.... I did have a 6 week stall that I just came out of and that was no fun at all:/ I also think that had something to do with my SEVERE BACKUP LOL! I was using suppositories, Fiber, prune juice, Smooth Move, you name it and nothing was working. I Took dulcolax 3 nights in a row and finally it all came out....sorry if tmi. I instantly lost 3 pounds of waste...grosssss but I felt so much better. I have had no problems the whole time pain or eating wise though, I can eat whatever I want and have no problem, sometimes beef gives me a bloaty feeling but most of the time it is ok as long as I go slow. I will update my headless picture as soon as someone comes home to take it lol:P
BTW I am a size 14 now, 5'4 and 188 pounds as of today!
