  1. Yes! I just started selling my things on eBay. I price things according to the item, most of my stuff is garage sell priced since it is 'gently used.' And to me, thats what eBay is supposed to be... America's internet garage sale.
  2. Found a few things I'm interested in... sending you a message now!
  3. For sure not having to negotiate fitting in boths at resturants, the fact that this was an issue before was a huge motivator for me in the first place. Also, clothes falling off because they're too big! Currently, anything in my closet fits either perfectly or too large, this makes getting dressed in the morning so much easier!
  4. Woo! I have most of those items at home right now. I'll have to try that this week!
  5. I have PCOS... and I can tell one big improvement, I'm not longer exhausted for no reason. Next Tuesday I'll be heading to my OB-gyn for the first time post surgery, she's the reason I started down this sleeve path in the first place, so I can't wait to see her and at 50 pounds lighter! I'm hoping she tells me all signs of PCOS are gone... I'm do a backflip out of her office!
  6. Yeah... you certainly did handle that situation better than me too. I would have had something smart alecy to say to her. Really, sometimes people should just mind their own busniess.
  7. WHOA! You look amazing! Congratulations on your inspiring success! I hope I get to post pictures just like these in 2 years time.
  8. Weight before surgery 286 Date of surgery 6/27/12 Current weight 236 Goal weight for competition 204 Here goes! Good luck everyone!!
  9. There is the single incision spider version of the sleeve where they go in through the belly button... its possible all these celebs when that route.
  10. Once I could handle it, I had egg, chicken, or tuna salad... just put it in the food processor. refriend pinto or black beans with a dollup of plain greek yogurt (is just like sour cream, only better for you), and some melted cheese. I had laughing cow cheese wedges, and made the famous ricotta bake you see others talking about in this sight. If you haven't discovered it yet check out this blog site: http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/p/links-resources.html
  11. I was the same as some of these folks. Walking is ok for now. I didn't get cleared for gym workouts until 6 weeks out.
  12. HAHA! This is funny. My boyfriend and I play a game sometimes, usually happens on long car rides, where we come up with weird combinations of things. Plastic wrap, duct tape, baby powder, and swim goggles....
  13. I agree with checking with your doc just to be sure. Could it be head feelings? You're thinking about it, so you feel something? I've done this before.
  14. I totally agree on Seth Rogan, Johan Hill, and Jennifer Hudson. I was pretty floored by how fast those three dropped weight. Glad I was not the only one thinking it! HA!
  15. I had one of those moments too, and then told myself I was being silly. The reasons I decided I needed to do the surgery still exsited and I needed to trudge forward. Glad you guys are ok!
  16. 2 oz. of Broiled chicken, 2 oz. of mixed veggies, and I ate 3 bites of salad! I'm still excited, since this is the first time I've had salad since surgery! So, happy!
  17. Ack. I'm really glad to hear that you made it through all that to the other side. Just keep fighting, and I know you hear it on this board time and time again it gets better, and its hard to hear or believe given what your current state is... but it really does. I had buyer's remorese for a really long time, and last week was my turning place. I am now really happy that I went through with it, my minor complications and all.
  18. This thread sorta gave me an "Aha!" moment. I've been struggling in a stall for the last couple weeks, frustrating for sure. But, I have started excercising the last two weeks as well and started on solid foods three weeks ago, so I wasn't surprised. I was surprised that suddenly, lots of coworkers really started saying stuff to me about how good I'm looking and my pants got even looser. I'm hitting up thrift stores next weekend for some inbetween clothes... I'm looking too baggy and I fear my pants falling off. I had a pair of shorts fall right off while I was at home... hysterical. Thank goodness I was the only one at home at the time.
  19. That's awesome!! I love reading people's success stories. I've been stuck in a stall for TWO WEEKS! I'm hoping I've managed to break that this week. So, are you at goal? Should we Celebrate??
  20. Oh my gosh, I wish I would have though about having scrubs to wear while I was recovering!!
  21. I have a few more items I need to add up there too. I keep trying things on. I'm needing to start buying some size 16 & 18 things super soon. I was standing and stretched, and my pants fell right off!! Thank goodness I was home and alone! LOL
  22. http://www.ebay.com/sch/pirategrrl77/m.html?item=110937803753&sspagename=STRK%3AMESELX%3AIT&rt=nc&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649&_trksid=p4340.l2562 Here try this link....
