  1. Well it has been 1 month today since I was sleeved by my brillant surgeon Dr. Mickey Seger! LOL - I had an appointment today and did a barium swallow test (they flavor theirs so not so bad) and all was well! I got to see my new tiny tummy! I have not had any difficulties so far other than some gas issues. They confirmed I have not lost any muscle mass since my surgery so that is fabulous! I have lost a good amount of weight which pleases me and I am eating soft foods and soon to start solids. The most awesome outcome so far with my surgery is that I have not had to take any diabetic medications or high blood pressure meds since my surgery which is just freaking cool!! (I was on 3 for the diabetes and 2 for the blood pressure!) Just wanted to say I am extremely happy with my decision to proceed with my surgery!! Hope everyone has as good a day as I am having! God Bless!!
  2. Are you at Foundation Surgical? Who is your surgeon??
  3. Just found the Benitos chips and I love them! Have to eat them sparingly though cause NUT wants me in the beginning here to only have 30 carbs a day. So not much chip crunch gonna happen! LOL - but, I definitely gonna try those pork rinds again because no carbs!
  4. In my first stall now and not really freaking out about it because I have read so many times that it is common. I can see the inches gone, my clothes fit better (some are way too big) and I feel great. I can paint my toenails again without it being a major ordeal, etc. Loving it!! Hang in there - you ain't done yet!!
  5. LMAO - awesome post - made me giggle right out of the gate! Nickname yourself "Drop Dead Gorgeous" in that group!!
  6. I gained 6 lbs - lost it quickly - IV fluids - Congrats and good luck!
  7. I wonder if my irritation level will be off the charts when I return to work?? Anyone?
  8. Looking awesome!! Congrats!
  9. Once I had all my approvals I asked my surgeon for a specific date and he was able to accommodate me. Welcome to the forum and good luck!
  10. Good luck and prayers going up that God will guide the surgeon's hands and instruments and all will go perfectly!!
  11. Diet V8 Splash, Fuze Slenderize, Propel Zero Fitness Water, SF jello, SF popsicles
  12. Congrats on your surgery!! Yeah, same here everyone I told knew that if I was telling them about it I had already done my research and had made my mind up. LOL - so sweet that your grandma had your back!!
  13. I too did not eat with anyone. They all completely understood and supported me in my journey!
  14. It seems that that hernia is common on here, I have seen lots of people that have had it and it was repaired at the same time as the sleeve was done. I think they have a little harder time drinking the fluids at first though because that area is swollen too. But, no worries you are among many that have had the same thing and are doing great now!! Keep sending up your prayers!!
  15. Glad to hear you are doing well!! Just rest and walk, rest and walk! Oh yeah and sip! LOL - normalcy has changed a little bit but it is right around the corner!!
