  1. Hi, I too am just beginning this journey and feel most everything beautifulnewme that you listed above. Excitement but also some anxiousness about the changes. I know the end result will be exactly what I am looking for, but right now all I want is to wake up from surgery and my doctor tell me...."awesome liver" and everything went perfectly!! My surgery is scheduled for March 5 and currently on day 5 of a 14 day Pre-Op diet. I will keep you in my prayers and hope to share this journey with you as well as many others on this board. God bless!
  2. Also my pillow has become my bestfriend. I hold it against my tummy at all times. Something about the firmness makes a big difference... Hey Sabrina - what does the pillow do?
  3. New Whey Liquid protien - small tubes 42g protien

Hang in there and remember all the reasons you chose the surgery. I am sure if it took you 6 months to get the final approval you have taken plenty of time to decipher if this is the right decision for you. Be proud you are sticking to your Pre-Op, that shows you understand the changes that you will have to make. (Because in reality you don't have to do them right now, but you are doing them!) My surgery is on 3/5/12 and I am on Pre-Op diet too. - God bless you!
  6. Thanks Want2bthin! Just trying to figure stuff out on here and find out how to do things like make my timeline thingy and reading the different threads. I started my pre-op diet on the 20th so day 4 now. Going pretty good - thank God my doctor told me I could have some bullion if I needed to - that has made a big difference. Keeping that to only 2 a day, placed inbetween shakes, in order to make sure I don't OD on sodium!
  7. Newbie to the board as of today! My surgery date is March 5th! Can't wait and hopefully can find some friends going through the same thing on this site.
