  1. I was banded on Oct. 4th, if I can lose a good bit of weight by then we will start trying in May (9 months after surgery).
  2. I'm almost 6 weeks post op, I'm happy I decided to do it. I recovered easily and am feeling great. I have yet to have a fill.
  3. I love 1/2 cup cottage cheese and handful of blueberries.
  4. I dropped alot the first two weeks, but since then I've barely lost anything. It's super frustrating but I'm trying to focus on daily fitness, my water intake and protein first, I hope that will help lose it.
  5. Look in my blog, I posted a few recipes on there, they are SO good! Also for breakfast I am having 1/2 cup cottage cheese with some blueberries on top. It's low cal and high protein.
  6. For you and the baby it's much better if you're at a healthy weight/bmi. Lots of luck with what ever you decide
  7. I added another recipe to my blog (in my signature), this time with pictures!
  8. Yes, I feel this way too. I feel like I'm only eating less because I measure out smaller portions, I think if I didn't I could fit an average size portions into me. But this smaller portion satisfies me, so I don't.
  9. I just wanted to recommend a couple recipes I've tried, links to them in my blog.

  11. I seem to have stalled with my weight loss. Is anyone else going through this? I am working out, and staying at about 500 to 600 calories a day.
  12. I'm getting in about 500-600 calories a day and about 5 glasses of water.
  13. Lucky! I didn't even get flowers from my husband!!!
  14. I have BA too, I have banana and orange, and mix those too.
  15. I was allowed tomato soup after my first doc visit, when I switched off Clear liquids. That was 5 days post op.
  16. I had to stay overnight so I loved having my own slippers along with some very loose pants to put under my hospital gown. I also brought something to do before surgery, I was there at 8:30 but didn't go in for surgery until noon (something happend in the surgery before mine).
  17. I think since it's still in the experimental phase I don't think every doctor is able to do it. Perhaps that's why your doctor didn't mention it.
  18. Yeah, myfitnesspal keeps saying I'm not consuming enough calories.
  19. I was feeling good a few days after surgery, banded on Thursday and off pain pills by Sunday.

  21. Anyone know how many calories they are eating? I'm on mushies and Myfitnesspal says I'm eating about 500-600 calories a day. Just wondering what others are taking in.
  22. I had the plication, I'm only 2 weeks out, but I'm still happy I did it. Anything to help with weight loss is a good idea to me.
  23. Hello Everyone! I was banded on the 4th, I've lost 20 pounds since surgery and 31 all together. I'm on the mushy diet, and I'm so over it. On a good note, I walked on the treadmill for 55 minutes (just over 2.5 miles) today!!!
