  1. Well over this challenge I had my first goal fall off in like a week...so I made a second challenge of 10 lbs..but my body decided to gain 13 lbs of water retention in a week, then when I finally got that off my cycle came to town and my dad passed away...so it has been a rough few weeks...I'm down to 387.2. I think that is 11 pounds since starting this challenge
  2. I can choke down any water...however I like the Dasani, Ozarka and Smart Water the best. Kroger had the 20 ounce bottles of Smart Water on 10/$10 and you get 5 free. Normally they are $1.50 each..or more..so I bought 30 bottles and I will be going back tonight to get 30 more. I am trying to drink 120 ounces a day so that is 6 bottles a day. I may have to get more...
  3. Well I have finally lost 3 of the 13 lbs I gained. Now to drop these other 10.
  4. So I was doing sooo well! Almost met my second 10 lbs loss goal for the 7/4 challenge...then mother nature stepped in and decided that this month not only would I have my cycle but I would retain a crap load of water and pack on 13 lbs! SERIOUSLY! I know it is only water but my scale doesn't know the difference! Just soo irritating! I have been drinking water like a mad woman and not expelling near enough...even the lasik that the doctor has me on isn't helping!
  5. I was so scared I wouldn't lose anything either! But amazingly enough I am and I still pretty much eat what I want. I eat NO where near what I used to which is the best part! I actually crave the Protein more than anything. If I can do this, you can do this!
  6. OMG!! The baking soda was a GREAT idea! I used it this morning on my hair and for the first time my hair was SQUEAKY clean! and I didn't have tons falling out when I brushed it! This is one happy girl!! Thank you!
  7. I use dawn ( yes dish detergent) as a shampoo a couple of times a week because mine is so oily. If I use conditioner it gets to oily but if I don't it breaks too easily..there is no winning with my hair..however I have never tried the baking soda trick...I'm trying that today!
  8. I was weighing almost daily...but I haven't weighed since last week. I am determined to start weighing weekly...Sundays only.
  9. I can totally see this whole thing playing out in my head and I am loving every second! That is an awesome NSV! I can't wait til I can chase a crazy!
  10. I have a small cup whenever I need to get things moving along again inside...once it does the trick I am good until the next go round. I used to love my coffee and soda..but now...honestly I could care less!
  11. Anytime! Seriously...I want to have more people around me that understand that a kids meal is even too much to eat! lol.
  12. I flew at 441lbs or more...so you can too...and if you are committed to shedding the weight and your body agrees then it may be possible to shed 60 lbs before you fly. Drink a ton of water...even though it is super hard to do at first...and eat lots of protein...and it will happen. My body likes to rebel so I am a super slow loser unless I drown myself in water and don't give my body an option but to release the fat.
  13. Not really, although I often hang out with a friend I met through this site. You are welcome to pm me and we can meet up somewhere if you'd like.
  14. I was put on a potassium medicine because all the water I was drinking was flushing it all out. The added potassium has helped! I totally sleep through the night with no feet/leg cramping!
  15. My surgeon told me 18-22 months....he also wants me to be around 160...which means losing 281 pounds...my goal is 200 lbs...which is losing 241 pounds...so rough estimate...14-18 months...
  16. The larger the size the more it takes to drop a size. I am down 53 lbs and have barely changed a size into a 32 from Avenue...it also depends on where the clothes are from...I have some old (10 years) lane bryant jeans that are a 28 and they go up..just can't quite breath in them...about 10 more pounds and I should be good. Once you are into the smaller sizes like a 16/18 then it will take like 15-20 lbs to change sizes.
  17. They should just post the link...i don't understand what is going on
  18. oooohhhhh....I never thought about that! Can they do a vajayjay life? or will a body lift work? Im thinking i may need a total body lift...*crossing fingers i don't though*
  19. I would say my energy level was back to normal around 2-3 weeks out..now however my energy level is triple what it used to be. I feel amazing and am so glad that I had this surgery! I am 3 months out now and actually WANT to take a vacation and go to Sea World with my son!
  20. Guess who is ALREADY down those 10lbs? That's right! It's me! In fact I am down 11.2 lbs since this challenge started!! SOOOO...in light of that success I am going to change my goal and add 10 more lbs! NEW GOALS: Start Weight for Challenge: 399 lbs Original Challenge Goal Weight: 389 lbs NEW Challenge Goal: 379 lbs Learning how to make this tool work for me!
  21. and how much walking did you do? just curious...you prolly burned more calories than you even consumed!
  22. Good Luck! I am sure you will come through with flying colors and we will all shove down on the bench for ya!
  23. They cancelled mine, gave me a 5 day round of meds and did my surgery the following Monday morning..I would see if you could get some really good antibiotics from your PCP then you won't have any problems. I had a non-productive cough, tickle in my throat and NO fever..but since I was coughing the dr didn't want me straining to cough and popping a staple in my new tummy.
