  1. I have used a draw since 3 days post op. It gives me better control over how much I take in.
  2. Can't stop giggling at this thread!
  3. Sorry! I try to be lady like....but sometimes I just have to let it all out!..lol
  4. liquid in...liquid out....just throwing that out there! I am 2.5 weeks post op and I am clogged up..
  5. OMG!!! I thought I was the only one! English was my minor in college and it drives me insane to see words used incorrectly. I even correct books as I am reading them.
  6. I stop eating at that point....also, i am still trying to control how fast i eat...so that may be part of my problem.
  7. that is how i know when i have had too much to eat or drink. i belch like a man.
  8. YAY!!! Maybe this will happen for me! I have been eating more calories (or trying to) but I have been too scared to get on the scale!
  9. EAS Myoplex...they taste pretty good and there are 42 grams of Protein...so that really helps me hit my 64 gram goal every day.
  10. WOW! That is what I want to do! I just don't think I will be that successful! You have any secrets?
  11. I am getting all my protien in with one protein shake (42 grams each) and then some food. i haven't been able to hit the 1200 goal yet...and I am careful what I eat...the dr has no concerns of a leak...i show no signs of one and he is confident that I am healing very well. my incisions are all healed.
  12. I think I finally got about 800 today...I wasn't able to eat much of the taco meat for dinner...but I was successful at eating more today than in the past 2 weeks...I do have to force myself to eat...cause I am never hungry...I just don't want to mess this up...that's what scares me..
  13. that is what I thought...but he told me that the reason I am not losing hardly is because my body has decided that i am starving it...I am going to shoot for the 1200 each day this week and see what my scale says at the end of the week...If i show a decent loss then i will stick with it...if I show no loss then I will be going back down to a lower caloric intake goal. so far today I have had eggs with cheese, a sugar free jello, more eggs with cheese, tea, water..so I am NO WHERE close to 1200 calories, but I am having taco meat with cheese and a dollop of sour cream tonight for dinner...no shell or tortilla.. but should still be tasty...which it will still put me below 1200 calories but only by about 300
  14. so I had my 2 week post op on Saturday and according to him I have lost 10 lbs...although I know it is more like 18 lbs...but i was fully clothed and wearing heavy shoes...so i like my scale more. So as we are talking about what he expects and everything he tells me he wants me to eat between 1200 and 1500 calories..I was flabbergasted...I even told him...that sounds like A LOT! I don't know if I can do that. So I started using the my fitness pal app and staarted tracking...so far i haven't hit the 1200 goal...but I keep getting closer..Can i really lose all the weight that I need to eating so many calories?
  15. I know right!!! I stopped and got me a breakfast taco with cheese and egg and bacon...I am eating the egg and cheese out of it and enjoying the bacon flavor...so happy right now to not have to "drink" my food anymore!!
  16. i get a kids size dr pepper icee have a few sips for the flavor and pass the rest on to my kiddo....best part is...there is NO carbination.
  17. I know that I didn't put the weight on over night...I guess I just thought that I would see more progress at this point.
  18. I still have some every now and then...but it hit me as soon as I started walking.
  19. so i havent lost anything since monday..only 10 days post op...so im thinking maybe i need to get in a few more calories if possible...i go and have some egg drop soup...and it comes back up...seriously...am I only meant to shed 20lbs? am I destined to be fat the rest of my life?
  20. I feel ya...I'm on day 9 post op and haven't seen more than .2 since Sunday.
  21. IDK...putting yogurt...down there....kinda weird...
  22. And for any men that may read this...you will probably regret it... I have never had a yeast infection before...and suddenly after my cycle ended one hit...and I mean hit hard...has this happened to any others?
  23. the reason i asked is because i forgot for a minute that i had surgery and couldn't take a normal drink...and of course took a normal drink of water...as soon as i swallowed I was like oh CRAP that is going to hurt...i kept waiting...and nothing...then suddenly...a little sharp pain and it was done...i was like...wait...really? that was it...does this mean i might almost be normal again? that would be AWESOME!
