I too was sleeved on the 4th I am down 16lbs! Can't wait for mushies!!

I had an appointment with my surgeon and she was telling me how good I was looking and that my hair was looking really nice. I told her I still would like to loose about 10 more lbs. She told me not to loose any more than the 10 lbs. So I very excited to be here at the end and so now, it's almost time for maintenace. I weighed 154 lbs with my cloths on and at home I weigh in at 149 lbs. Yayyyyyyy! So happy and also scared that I won't be able to maintain my weight. If it's not one thing, it's another.

I too was sleeved on the 4th I am down 16lbs! Can't wait for mushies!!

I went to NH for my best friend's wedding and I gotta say that I had an AMAZING time! Sleeve wise I was very, very bad... I drank, I smoked (I was drinking, it happens) I ate food smothered in rich creamy sauces, I savored wedding hordevours, tasted a bite of wedding cake, and danced my much smaller a$$ off! I actually did better with the food thing than I thought I would though - I stayed away from the pastas and breads and most of the sweets, and focused mainly on the Proteins and veggies, even if they were prepared in the least healthy way possible, I did the best I could with the options in front of me. Everything in moderation though, right?
The best part of my trip was seeing my ex for the first time in 5 years. He's gained the 80lbs I've lost since pre-op and when he saw me in my LBD (pics to come soon) his jaw dropped. That was all I needed And of course he told me he felt bad for the way things ended, though I'm *pretty* sure it was because his new girlfriend isn't half as attractive as me and has a face only a mother could love. It's mean, I know, but it makes me feel better damnit! LOL

I finally made it to 199...I've been trying for a few weeks now! This makes everything worth it..

My surgery is in 7 hours! Excited and a bit nervous...
Looking forward to hearing how all of you are doing and to being "with it" to log back on and update you on my journey!

I have one more week before I'm sleeved...yay!!!

Well as of today I am 1 week out. I gained 20 lbs while in the hospital but as of weigh in today I am pleased to announce I am 32 lbs down! Know I know 20 of that was Water weight from iv fluids but dang 12 lbs is still alot!! I am super excited! The first 5 days I didn't think I would ever feel human again but as everyone on here has said it really does get better everyday! So if you are having doubts my advice to you is this go for it! I sure am glad I did!

Hyoscyamine tabs u put under tongue. For gi spasms and cramping.
If u have nausea or vomiting zofran tabs worked for me. I never threw up but was a lil sick to my tummy and that took it away. For at home pain relief they gave me liquid lortab..I never needed it though,it taste yukky lol. Good luck!!!

YAY to June 5th-ers!! I am starting to get worried about all the others that haven't been back to check in yet since surgery!! Maybe we should start a new thread for post-op check-ins only or something, to differentiate?? Idk...

I want to thank everyone here for your well wishes and I can't wait to join you on that losers bench!
