  4. well I am going to see the surgeon on March 21 so God willingly they will have my do the two week diet and I can have the surgery first week of April. My fingers are crossed.

A brief intro about myself I'm 24 weigh 282 lbs and my height is 5'7.. I plan on having surgery at Columbia Presbyterian on 168 st and Broadway, NY, NY. Looking forward to hearing from other new york sleevers.
  7. Welcome back, Even though I wasn't here when you first start your journey I am here from this moment on. I am also hoping for April surgery and maybe we can be surgery buddies. Please don't let the negativity of other people effect your decision to a happier healthier life. I am constantly told I don't need the surgery cause I carry my weight well but I know this is what I want and need in order to live a healthier life from here on out. Once again Good Luck and we're here if you need anything

  10. Hi Kiki it only took my insurance to approve the surgery two business days. The hospital submitted my paper work on Thursday and that Monday I was approved

So today I got a phone call stating that someone canceled their surgery and they had an opening for this upcoming Wednesday to see the surgeon so im most likely looking at an April surgery instead of May. Just wanted to share that and will definitely keep everyone posted on Wednesday what they tell me. Im so ready to be sleeve

Hey everyone I was looking into doing the couch to 5-K being that I have time to kill since I won't be meeting the surgeon till April 18 I thought I should start becoming active and eating healthier. I was wondering if anyone has done the couch to 5-k challenge. How was it? What was most challenging? Any tips you would recommend? Thanks for everyone who taking the time to respond!
