  1. That is awesome!! Good choice. So happy for you. I am a little over a month out too and doing my best to make smart choices. Keep up the good work!!!
  2. Do you have steri strips on the incisions? Same thing happened to me a few years back. That's when I found out I was allergic to them so when I was in Mexico I made sure they knew I was allergic to it to prevent the blisters. Good luck!
  3. Thanks for all the prayers and positive vibes. Got home safe and sound last night. All is well so far. Praise be to God. Dr. Rodriguez and his team are awesome! Anyone choosing to use Belite and/ or Dr. Rodriguez, you will have an awesome experience. Honestly felt like I was in the US having surgery at a top notch hospital. Would do it again in a heart beat. Most of the nurses spoke some English so communication was not an issue. Surgery went on without any complications. I am very excited to be on the losers bench thanks to Dr. Rodriguez, Ishi with Belite Weight, my wonderful husband and my great Vertical Sleeve family! Attached is pic of Juarez from my room. And no didn't hear any gun shots. It is just like any other dangerous US city. Star Medica is located in an upscale neighbor right by the American Embassy. Good luck to everyone !

  8. The hospital is unbelievably clean! Everybody is nice. My surgery is tmrw. Pray for me guys. Trying to send pics of the hospital. It's 100% cleaner than any US hospital I have been too. My room has a sleeping area, a separate living area. And a huge bathroom. Amy you were so right!!!
  9. That is SOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD to hear!!!! Thanks!! I feel so pumped now after hearing that!!! Thank you!
  10. LMAO!!! Too funny. Yea, in one of mine I had moved to Mexico and was working as a lifeguard on the beach lol. Hey question for you...Not sure if you work and/or took time off from work but do you think it would have been possible for you to return to work in a week ? Thanks! I asked Dr. Rodriguez over the phone and he said yes. But still a little skeptical
  11. Caradina, So happy you made it back safe and sound!!! Praying all is well w/ my surgery at the end of this week too. I leave for Star Medica on Thursday for the sleeve with Dr. Rodriguez. Star Medica is definitely a newer, bigger, cleaner hospital than INT and I'm looking forward to getting this over with! You are right. Belite is awesome!!! Ishi is hilarious with a lot of energy and I am in constant communication with her. We spoke yesterday and she just made me feel better about it. It is so funny you have vivid dreams..listen...I haven't had the sleeve yet but I have started having the most vivid and ridiculous dreams ever lol. Wishing you all the best!!!!

  13. ---Thanks so much. March 29th is the big day. THANK YOU for your prayers!!!
  14. So good to here the positive experience. I am being sleeved by Dr. Rodriguez in Mexico. Praying all goes well for me too
  15. Congratulations! You are now on the losers side. Sorry you are in so much pain. Hopefully tmrw will be better
  16. I heard Dr. Rod was good for ppl with scar tissue that's all. Other than that I would have gone to Dr. Garcia. A Lighter Me and Ms. Sandy were very nice. Can you believe they even called just to check on me after rerfunding my money! IMO You can't go wrong w/ Garcia if that is your choice.
