Today I have offically lost 50 pounds since my heaviest and 36 pounds since my surgery on Feb 8th 2012.. ON we go!!!!

I have read so many posts about nsvs and how good they make you feel....but today, it was my surprise. My daughter insisted on going shopping with me today because yesterday my jeans were literally sliding down my hips. Today she kept picking clothes for me to try on. I used to be a 22 and I kept telling her to pick out things close to that size. Instead, she insisted I try on 18's and guess what? They fit and I looked great in them! I was so surprised, I just couldn't believe it. I came home and began to empty out the 22's in my closet. Everything from winter in that size is now in a bag for the Salvation Army. It was so exciting and so motivating. Thanks to everyone for listening. I am just floating I am so happy!

I would think that if your having trouble eating you may need a slight unfill.

Thank u for sharing guitar4life. It is fascinating to me to hear from a mans point of view. Honestly I've always thought "chunky" men had it easier than girls. I love that your list is so similar to us!

It does get better! I thought the same thing as you! Try some gas x and walking for the shoulder pain, chewable gas x or the strips. I wouldnt reccomend the peppermint flavor.... seemed to make things worse with me but the cherry was fine!

Christmas of 2010 - picture this: I'm out of state at my new boyfriends (now my new husband) families house for Christmas. I'm wearing a really cute black skirt that I had to roll the waist on cuz it was too big. I'm standing in the middle of the room with about 6 other people and my legs felt a little cold. My skirt was on the floor! My boyfriend noticed and helped me pull it up - thank God everyone else was in deep conversation and no one else saw it (at least we don't think so!). I had to belt my skirt that day and the minute we got home it went in the goodwill pile.

let me start out with holy sh**!!!!!!! today is 3weeks since my band and i have lost 25 freakin lbs :) i still have a ways to go but i am pumped. i waited to weigh myself becuase i didnt want to obsess over my scale everyday, but yesturday my pants legit feel down haha im not even lying they dropped to the floor embarressing yet exciting at the same time LOL. it has been hard since im real hungry alot more these past couple days but im drinking tons of Water and hopefully after my first fill that will help.. i start exercising today so that should melt away some more weight. my question is, is this the height of significant weight loss? i mean like afta this will it be the slooow process? either way im so happy i decided to do this.. only thing i regret is waiting so long!

Maybe try Biofreeze. I have heard that the NSAIDS can eat away at the stomach lining and that is why they don't want banded folks taking them.

Im home. They removed 2 cc's of Fluid from my band. I felt better instanly. I was really dehydrated and they wanted me to stay but I decided to come home now that I can drink water!

Headed to ER. Apperently they put primer Fluid in my band and im not taking it well. Im having trouble swallowing and pain in my chest. They said its most def not gas or indigestion they want that fluid removed. Wish me luck.

I'm officially banded! No gas pains just sore in one of the incisions. Boy I was scared for nothing!!! Just can't wait to go home tomorrow afternoon.
