  1. Wow to bcdueck!! I think my doctor is just really cautious or conservative---I have had one fill sine my surgery on 2/29/12---that fill was only 2.2 ccs. I am going for my second fill next Thursday because I am hungry in between meals big time. Trying not to "graze" and nibble and cheat but it is hard. I am down according to surgeon's scale only 16 pounds but according to my primary doctor I am down 29 pounds...sigh. I guess we all have our issues with this surgery. I hope everyone is trying their best to feel better....as I tell everyone, it took me a long time to get this heavy so I will be patient to get healthy )
  2. Saw my doctor Thursday for first post op check...they were very disorganized. Doctor says my incisions are "angry"...no more washing my stomach for now. Down 16 pounds since surgery date (2/29/12). I am on regular foods, no issues yet. Next visit---first fill.
  3. Hey LuvBug! I have some trouble with my postings on here...they all seemed to be layered one on top of another at my home computer but here at work, they are fine. Well how did your first day of real food go? I measured out a cup of chicken and brocoli cut up and I could only eat a half of that before my "lap band" kicked in and I hit the wall lol. My incisions are driving me batty with the itching which I know means they are healing but sheesh, enough already. Other than feeling tired, I have no pain, no mid back issues, no gas...nothing. I am going to bike week this Friday...my first test in the "real" world surrounded by bad food, too much booze and partying. Should be interesting lol. Have a great Monday and call me tomorrow when you see Dr. Dietrick. I don't go until this Thursday

  5. Hi all..just checking in. Banded 2/29/12---feel pretty good, wished I took more time off from work---been hard to return this past Monday but a girl has to earn a pay check. According my home scale I am down 14 pounds...I am going to judge it by next week's visit to the doctor lol. Mushies suck by the way! Come on now, we all agree to a certain extent that we are over all this yucky food lol. Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well and hanging in there. The ultimate goal for me is to get off my diabetic meds and improve my health
