A person who has been posting on my thread has been suggesting that if I don't like being insulted and offended by her nastiness, that I, and others should block her. I use my iPhone. Could you please help me by showing me, and others how to block?

Thank you so much for the KIND responses. When I was researching the band, there seemed to be quite a few people on here who had had revisions to the sleeve, and also others like me who wanted to compare the results for the 2 of them. I wish everybody the best success with their weight loss, and if anybody pre op would like to know anything specific about the sleeve, I'm more than happy to chat.

I think it is beneficial for all of us to be open and supportive of everyone, no matter where they are into the process or what they have had done. There are many people here that have different stories to tell.

I just hit 200 while going through dietary counseling FOR The band. Devastating. I have never ever been this heavy, and I'm only 38. So glad I'm doing this. Less than two weeks until my surgery.
Just remember, information is FREE!!!!! You can't get enough. And it is YOUR health, YOUR life, YOUR decision.

Mrs. Curtis reacted to akurre12 in Down 80 pounds in 7 months (pictures)
Surgury date June 18th 2012, as of 1/11/13 I was officially at 80 pounds lost. Yesterday I took pictures because I was having trouble seeing any difference in myself lately, and taking those pictures completely made my week. I went into them thinking there wouldn't be much of a difference between my 50 pound pictures and these, but I was shocked at how wrong I was. It really put the confidence back in me and it makes me want to work even harder!

This is what I made tonight, except I used rotiserie and mild salsa, the whole family liked it.
    chicken Cream cheese Enchiladas
    Ingredients
    1. 2 (12 1/2 ounce) cans chicken breasts ( drained)
    2. 1 (10 1/2 ounce) cans reduced-fat cream of chicken Soup
    3. 1 (8 ounce) bar reduced-fat cream cheese ( softened)
    4. 1 (28 ounce) cans green enchilada sauce
    5. 1 (8 ounce) packages shredded cheddar cheese
    6. 15 soft taco-size flour tortillas
    Directions
    1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
    2. In a large bowl, combine chicken, cream cheese, cream of chicken Soup, 1/2 the cheddar cheese, and enough enchilada sauce to make the mixture moist.
    3. Mix all ingredients well. Make sure the cream cheese is not clumpy.
    4. In a large rectangular baking dish pour enough enchilada sauce to coat the bottom.
    5. In each tortilla put approximately 3-4 large tablespoons of the mixture.
    6. Roll each tortilla and place into the pan.
    7. Once pan is full, pour enough enchilada sauce on top to make sure each tortilla is covered.
    8. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
    9. Bake for between 25 and 30 minutes.
    10. Allow to cool 10 minutes before serving.
    11. Garnish with sour cream, lettuce, olives, etc.
    12. Enjoy.

Hi, I have had my band for 4 years, lost over 100 pounds and stayed at goal which helped me to have 2 babies so had total unfits then put some back on which is why I have rejoined the forum. My best piece of advice is to give yourself a year to be completely in tune with your band, I'm not really talking about weight loss as you will be losing loads of weight during this time. I mean learning what you can eat and how much, going through periods when your band is too tight/ not tight enough. Times when your weight plateaus, or losing really well and then suddenly nothing for no reason. Listening to other people's struggles or frustrations or comparing yourself to their journey. But please STICK WITH it. Alot of people say they don't like their band because they can't eat anything/certain things/ can still drink milkshakes/ have some reflux/ sometimes throw up ( and if of course there are some extreme cases of this) and say that people should not have to live like that. But if you play it right, be relaxed with it and listen to your body ( because it's your body and your band that make the rules, not what other people or even your doctor says you should or shouldn't be able to do) eventually you won't remember or know how to live any other way. You won't use food to make yourself happy an you will probably rather go for a Run than attemp to eat a whole family bag of chips. You will be able o go out with your friends for dinner and have a small amount of something you love, a glass of wine and maybe share a desser because you will have learnt to eat like a thin person. Good luck xx
