I'm two days out and waiting for the pain everyone is having. I have no gas pains, no sin from surgery ANC I can keep my liquids down. I also got my period but it's not to bad. Just waiting for the other shoe to drop.

The dic just gave the ok for broth and jello and I can go home tomorrow!!

Haven't farted yet kinda afraid too lol. Just finished the swallow test that is nasty.

DS how are you doing with gas pains and nausea? So far no gas here but when I walk too much I get nauseas which sucks. Not in much pain either. I have a swallow test at one then I can drink. Keep me posted on how ur doing. Lori

Sadly they still give you one but I know with the hospital I am having my surgery they'll have you wear that belt and a pad. When I had the lap band I got me period and that's what they did to me. My surgery is tomorrow and I've been spotting I do not want that belt lol

You are soo lucky. I'm on hmr800 liquids only for my pre op. my surgery is 7/24 almost there!

Mammio there are a lot of resources out there for you and your children take advantage of it. No one deserves what you are going through.

I'm on my 2nd week of the pre op surgery is on 7/24 the first two days were tough. I'm on hmr800 shakes and they have some great recipes. Just take it one day at a time. Good luck!

I'm on day 3 of my pre op. first day sucked but it's gotten a bit better. I'm on hmr800 and I can add some sugar free gelatin and pudding to the shakes which makes a huge difference. My surgery is on 7/24

The nutritionist recommended muscle milk light. It doesn't taste too bad. I also have nectar which also tastes good.

I'm starting it tomorrow. They gave me hmr800 along a variety of ways to make it. I'm on it for two weeks. Good luck!

I got all my dates before the approval. I was afraid of getting my hopes up. My husband wanted me to call every week for the status luckily it didn't come to that. I was approved last week!!
