  7. I kinda felt something on fill 3 but really once I got fill 4 I was able to go for 5+ hours of feeling full. So really just go by feel and be patient. You will get there! Good Luck!
  8. The key is to eat slowly. If you eat fast and only junk it will hurt and fail. Remember protein first. Lean meats and veggies. Sugar free stuff if you want somethign sweet. Eating fast may cause you to feel like you swallowed a golf ball and have to wait it out until it passes. If you follow the guildlines you will be fine. Working out more is a bonus to kick start and help lose faster. Its a tool not a magical cure. You work with it and it will greatly reward you down the road. Good Luck to you and if you have any qustions ask me. I'm always happy to share my experiences.

  12. Try fat free greek yogurts they are a bit more dense and very filling. One of those babys and you will be good to go!
  13. I'm sure it will pass. It might be from anxiety. Makes drinking or eating harder and more restricting.
  14. Took me about an hour to get down a sugar-free jello. Only been banded 3 days. Kinda feels like my throat is tight. It maybe from me being anxious. I'm anxious from the pain but trying to keep it managed. My stomach is constantly gargling but I don't feel hungry. Thirsty yes and have been taking 1 oz every 15 mins. But do I still have to wait an hour after jello before I can drink again?
  15. Any one else feel like their throat has been banded too. So hard to take fluids
  16. Mine is April 4th Tomorrow!!!!! So excited
  17. I highly recomend YOGA. Its slow movements that make you sweat balls. I have been doing it on thursday at work for an hour and I have become more flexable and feel really good after.
  18. I'm on the 4th as well. Good luck to you! As to what's next after the seminars it varies from where you go. I had to do a bunch of pre op requirements and my insurance paid for the whole thing. Took 3 months total for insurance approval and requirements completed.
  19. I'm finding I'm having so many stomach aches in the evening due to being hungry and take a pepsid and drink fluids but the feeling won't go way. I'm fine after my one meal at lunch but after 9 so uncomfortable. Also if I don't take a stool softner I find myself hurting out the other end the next day. Sorry for the tmi. But I guess it comes with the pre op. I'm making sure to get a bunch of veggies in me to help. Less than a week till my surgery. I can hold out but this sucks
  20. What exactly is different from regular chicken broth in flavor difference. Is it bland or have a weird smell or what?
