  1. By the way my nick at my fitness pal is kflower84
  2. I thought I was not eating a lot and I couldn't explain why my weight loss had stopped. I started logging my food at myfitnesspal and I have lost 7pounds in about 2weeks. I could probably do better if it wasn't for my naughty weekends.
  3. I love shopping but so far I've only purchase1 pair of capris that are size 14. I don't plan on being size 14 too long that's why I try to stay away from the stores. I have a few pants that still fit me loosely. That's enough for now...
  4. I've had a few episodes of getting stuck. I usually just wait for it to go down about 20 minutes or I go the bathroom. I only go the the bathroom when I know I ate too much and I feel the food in my throat.
  5. Im getting me one right out of work!! It's too hot today here in Jersey!!!!
  6. I was on the website and there's nothing there about a sf vanilla iced coffee...
  7. I know exactly how you feel !! Im tired of people asking me " so, how much have you lost ?" And there's others that haven't seen me in a while and they are " OMG you lost so much weight " Makes me feel awkward ...
  8. I am dying to try this. But I can't find it here
  9. Sorry my nick is: kflower84
  10. I agree with Cazzy. His responsability not yours.
  11. When I was on mushies I mashed a banana and it was the most disgusting think to look at. I try to eat it but I got nauseous. I've tried mangos and strawberries in smoothies. Now I am able to eat bananas and watermelon that I've tried so far but I choose to stay away from fruit because of the high sugar and carb content.
  12. I just saw my nutricionist last week. She said up to 1200 calories, 70g protein, and to try to keep my carbs between 100-120g. I asked her about low carbs diet and she responded that "the brain needs an average of 100 to 120 g of carbs for optimum function".
  13. @Nadekusibe I sent you a request on myfitnesspal. did u get? can u see me?
  14. Images added to a gallery album owned by Kflower84 in Before and After Lap Band Photos

  15. I get that pain too. I asked my dr he said gas ...
  16. My nutricionist said not to count coffee in your liquid intake because the caffeine dehydrates you. I continue to have a cup in the morning. I take it with milk and I just dont count it in my fluid intake.
  17. It's pretty normal to feel hunger after your first fill. My surgeon have us do 24hours liquid and 24hours mushy then continue on soft solids.
  18. I have never had anything stronger than tylenol or advil (before band) . So I was afraid of the pain meds. Also, I was told that Percocet or whatever they use can make u nauseus and with my first surgery (gallbladder removal) 3 weeks before the band I was very nauseus and throwing up after the surgery. My surgeon said it was because of the anesthesia. Thank God my band surgery was easier on me.
  19. Does that apply to the UHC Community Plan? My sister has that one but she can't find a surgeon that would take her insurance. Any suggestions in NJ would be greatly appreciated.
  20. Thank you so much for making this post. I was banded 6 months ago and can't seem to start exercising constantly.. I might walk my treadmill 3 days in a row and then stop for 2 weeks and start again. Im looking for ways to excersice but I can't fit a gym in my budget right know. Still paying for my portion of the surgery. I'll take note on all the suggestions been posted here, thanks
  21. You can't have anything the morning of surgery. You'll probably be able to take them afterwards bucause they are usually very small. I take my allergy pills and tylenol without a problem. I would not take Advil, Motrin or Ibuprophen because those are prohibited after the lap band. "according to my surgeon" Ps: Every surgeon has different rules and views on the subject.
