It's very common to not feel restriction til a few fills in. This period is called bandster hell and if you want to lose weight now, you will usually need to do some traditional dieting. As for food, you usually do liquids 24-48 hrs after and then transition back to real foods.

Thanks nwgirl knowing its normal makes me feel better because I feel like maybe my band had slipped since I can still eat a lot . Can't wait for my next couple of fills :)

It's pretty normal to feel hunger after your first fill. My surgeon have us do 24hours liquid and 24hours mushy then continue on soft solids.

Well just put of curiosity I ate a burger but didn't finish it and I feel full now nothing else i eat Keeps me full ..

I am with you!!! I had my first fill and will go back for my second the end of the month...I am hungry. My dr didn't give any restrictions post fill--said I could continue to eat normally and if I noticed any trouble then to call--but I don' t have that much restriction. I am so looking forward to the next fill and hoping that I can finally feel some lasting fullness.
