Went To Macys Today And...

Wow! What a shopping trip! I fit into a size 12 skort!! A fricken size 12!! Really? Who is this girl? I range from a 14-16 and have been getting into 14s lately so there was a cute red skort on sale - but only a size 12 left. So I figure why not? It not only fit-but it wasn't tight either! I think at the weight I am now I don't need to lose as much to go down a size-whereas when I was heavier I could straddle a size for a much greater weight range. SO I headed up to the bras- and I am a 38C-Whoa! I think this time last year I was a 42D or more.

It's hard to go down sizes (mentally). I still gravitate to the bigger sizes. Last year I was a 22-this year a 14 and that adorable size 12 skort! To all of you starting out-just wait until next summer comes-you will feel and look so different and yes, it will definitely be worth it!

Ooh you go girl!

It feels great doesn't it. And the clothes always seem cuter in the smaller sizes!

Such an amazing feeling. I am almost to an eight. I am doing size 10s and that feels pretty awesome. the beginning of last summer I was just getting into 18s.

Now that is very encouraging

Way to go!!!! I use to wear 22-24's and 2X tops last year before my surgery. Now I am in a 16 pants and XL tops. I feels so good to be smaller and the clothes are definetly cutier in smaller sizes. I don't know why people feel like big people need to wear lots of big flowers and polka dots on there clothes. It also feels good not to buy pants with elastic in the waist!!!

Way to go!!! Great feeling, isn't it?

Congrats!!!! I went shopping today and got into my first size large ( no x large or 2x) it's an amazing feeling for those who are just starting out. There is light at end of tunnel.

I just had to buy a size 22 jeans and I cried the whole way home, I cant wait till its my turn to write a post like this. Congrats....so exciting!!!

Dont cry...it's going to come off when you keep your eye on the prize. Be patient, and when you have energy start that walking and moving even if it's baby steps. Follow those rules, up your protein intake (60-80 or what your surgeon advises). Before you know it you will be putting those size 22's away, 17's,16's and more...treat yourself along the way but look for good sales!!!! You are going to do awesome!

Congrats!

That's Awesome!! Thanks for sharing- can't wait till my sizes start dropping. Thanks for the inspiration.
