  1. I seldom eat breads, pastas, or sweets. These are very addictive for me.
  2. This is truly an amazing journey for all of us. Congrats on ur shrinking sexy body!
  3. It takes time to change. I really do like the suggestions about researching and finding more healthy nutritionist food. Focus on small portions and eating a spoon of this and a spoon of that. Don't forgot to eat ur protein first. When at school thinking about food refocus on ur classes. Tell ur self no. Plan ur food the night before.
  4. Hi Lisa i couldn't get the pictures on my VST. Are others having difficulty too?
  5. Alot of it is because you are working out and need more calories to burn.........Only problem is, when your tummy is full, it's full and can't ge much more in.
  6. You can do a little at a time......Just don't pick anything up over 10 lbs until your surgeon clears you....
  7. I confess: I love my skinniness I love eating small amounts this is a struggle to learn to fight my unhealthy past eating habits I'm afraid I will go back to eating too much and gain weight I try to make my husband eat like me.....
  8. Why is every one reacting to this chaos? Clearly this post is out of control! Stop responding. In the long run, it doesn't matter what is said and done. If someone wants to risk damaging her body, then that's on her...... We are all human. PEACE to all! NAMASTE!
  9. You ladies have done it! U both have made tremendous accomplishments! Congrats!!
  10. Look at it this way, at least by following the regular pre opt diet, your liver will have even more of a chance to shrink and you will be in better shape for the procedure. Please don't make that baked chicken.....It will be calling your name and then after you will be wanting more solid foods and your mind will be playing games on you......
  11. Can you eat some yogurt? It does help with the cravings for sweets.....Or Sf pudding or jello. I still drink or eat a protein bar when I want something sweet. Don't give in to your head hunger. Now is the time to tame it.....Distract yourself with something else or call a friend....
  12. My husband didn't say much. Just that he loves me no matter what. Later after my major weight loss and no more diabetes, he started talking about how this vsg would help my niece who has issues with her diabetes, bp, and eyes. Wanted me to talk with her..... Now that saids it all.....
  13. This could be hormones left over or it can be that you are getting in foods that don't give you much of a full feeling. Either way, it will pass and soon the foods you eat will be more solid and your body won't be able to metabolize them as quickly. You will feel full and might even feel hungry at all. You may also benefit from checking with your surgeon about taking a PPI which is nexium, omeprazole, tums, etc.
  14. Now this is my specialty. IMPO it would be highly advised that u don't take up alcohol or drugs. It's a disease and it is advised to get some help. AA is a good place to start. When doing alcohol u become less inhibited and more likely to eat way too much that can cause damage by his is the time to work on cultivating new healthy bodies and habits. Focus on learning more about healthy goods that nourish ur body don't tear it down with alcohol or drugs. U can do this! Now Rock that sleeve and clean up ur act!
  15. Congrats! Can't wait for u to join us on the big loser's bench.
  16. Upped my calories, decreased my calories, and finally learned to just sit back and let my metabolism do it's job. I had to learn patience.
  17. I am 15 months post op and am wondering how many calories people are eating at 15 months and further post op. I am so freeking out bc I totally ate above 1750 calories.
  18. Sounds like this is a joke or OP has issues with alcohol.
  19. I recommend taking it just one day at a time. Focus on getting in your liquids in and protein don't worry too much about calories. It is totally normal to have your body take a breather to readjust in inches. You are doing great! Keep on healing for now.
  20. You guys are all doing really well. Iegal, congrats on getting back on track. Reading about Vitamix's sounds so delicious I am keeping my calories down to 1300 and am working on adding healthy carbs. Sometimes I find myself just wanting to eat. So got to stop those thoughts. Keep it up guys!
  21. Since being sleeved I have become quite a food snob. Lol I work at eating orgAnic stress free food. I don't want my food doctored up with sugars, fats, and trying to reduce salt. I love salt. These ingredients make our food addictive. Happy to hear your wife is opening up to getting sleeved. She can become so much more healthier and still enjoy her food. Who knows maybe she'll join me with being a food snob. LOL.
