  6. Congratulations!! Most people can not eat normal foods within a few days after op. Do check into this again, mush foods, yougart, soup maybe. Otherwise looks like your all set. Good Luck
  7. Sue3 I'm glad your husband sees your health as a top priority now. Since you have high cholesterol, diabetes, and have only a synthetically functioning thyroid. Loosing weight should help your issues and may even eliminate some of your medical conditions. I could not qualify, was a self-pay and my BMI sat right at 39.7 with no co-morbesities. My sig-other was totally supportive! A year later I'm at a BMI of 30!! I do want to add I've stalled at my weight loss for a few months now, so I don't know if I'll ever meet my goal of 144 lbs. I am happy with my decision to be banded. The best of luck

Donali is now know as Carrie. A mousy and abused girl with telekinetic powers who gets pushed too far on one special night. If You've Got A Taste For Terror... Take Carrie To The Prom. Cool Thanks Lisa, Gobs of make-up, lighting just right and my chin is sticking way out. Sue, Has anyone ever taken the words right out of your mouth? All in fun....

My dreams are extremely vivid. I may not be able to remember them completly, but can wake up with most details. My sister who I lost 16 years ago, was 36 at the time. She was overweight, my whole family was. But in my dreams she's thin, young and beautiful. When we talk its as if she never died. One of my first dreams of her she was asking what I did with the money (I received an insurance settlement as one of her beneficiaries) right away I told her she can have the money, its hers. She told me to keep it. I woke up frazzled, I did put 8K down on my first condo. She believed she was an old soul and has been on the earth several times before, saying that at one time she was a black slave helping others to freedom like Harriett Tubmen. She also believed I was once a mother of 8 kids and even bought me mothers day cards... My Mom looks as she did when she died and seems like she still alive also. My dad never touches the ground, (I believe its because he was cremated) he sit in a chair about 6 feet off the ground with a big smile and doesn't say anything.. My sister and dad use-to bicker and fight all the time. When she died the others in the family decided to put my dads urn in the casket with her, I thought nothing of it until they were lowering the casket into the ground, I said what did we do they're fighting already...
  18. Congratulations! Great additude, welcome to LBT!

You may think I'm nuts......The ex-husbands Mom, who died in the house as well. I had been dating him a few months and decided to move into his home just prior to marriage. The first time I saw her she was just a blur of a tall lady with short brunette hair down a long hallway. I thought I was nuts, apparently I described her to a T. Late at night if I got up and went pass the family room the rocking chair would be rocking. The oddest thing was one day cleaning around the house and doing laundry I kept going back and forth past the kitchen table out to the garage. There was a penny on the floor next to the kitchen table at the foot of a chair. Everytime I passed that penny It was like she was telling me to pick up the penny. Finally I picked it up starring at the chair as if she was sitting in it and I said "Are you happy now, I picked up the penny" When I told the ex-husband his jaw dropped and he told me how she always sang this song about pick up the penny, whenever there was a penny on the ground. I got used to her being around it was her house. My sister and my mom visit me in my dreams, Its like they never died.
  20. Wow Queen, today was the first day of school for my 2nd grader Roxanne. Its been almost 3 months since I've seen some other parents and was delighted with all the comments of weight loss even though I've only lost maybe 5 lbs. all summer. I also have a 3 year old boy and I'm 45 years old and have allot of the same thoughts as you. Just think we'll be 59 years old when the 3 years olds graduate from high school.
  21. Yep, Alex sent me a personal letter the day I joined this forum and I read a post from him a couple of months ago but that's the last I've heard of him. Alexandra doesn't miss a thing and she's a very talented writer. Thanks again! Hey How's Alexis?
