10 days until banding

Well I'm off in 10 days to monterrey to get banded by Dr. Rumbaut. I'm starting to freak out I can't believe its here already. I must say, I find myself eating alot. thinking I dont know if i will be able to ever eat many of my favorites again. I am getting pretty sick of stuffing my face anyways. I have got to kiss my friend "pigging out" good-bye. any last minute words of encouragement...?

Did anyone else start having sleepless nights thinking about there banding?:D

No sleepless nights...just a good experience.

You'll be able to write to us from the business center on the first floor of the hotel. Keep in touch.

Monterrey is a wonderful city, and Dr Rumbaut is a great doctor.

Last supper symdrome happens to everyone. After banding, with time you'll be able to eat "Most" foods in moderation.

The best of luck to you.

Congratulations!

Hello!

Best of luck and keep us posted!!! Take slip on shoes, you'll need them. I was really nervous all the way up to the moment of surgery so your perfectly normal. I also experienced the last supper syndrome. Fortuneately I had only booked mine about 10 days out from the get go so I didn't have too long to do much weight gain. Best wishes to you, Teresa

I know of your pain...

I've got two hours to go, and am extremely nervous...

I also cheated a little on my pre-op Atkins, and had a "last Supper" two nights prior to.

Now that's history. Can you believe it?:sick

I ate like it was going out of style a week before my banding and I was very nervous. I had to be on clesr liquids 2 days before surgery and that was torture. You will do great... Best wishes...Janie
