  1. Hi Brenda, First band 8-14-03. You can search my story as my tubing had a slow leak, repaired on 2-25-05. Confirmed leak at repair site and Re-banded 3-31-05. Hi Meshawn and Leatha
  2. Pork, dry ribs, Pork-chops!! could never with my old band or my new band. I have had the worst PB's on Pork!
  3. bubbame, Most people like Califorinia Rolls(crab), but at the start are turned off by the seaweed; try small bites. Good Maguro should be very tender, these are good starters. dip in soy with a little of the green stuff (wasabi) mixed in for hot flavor. Caren, your martini sound delish'
  4. Angeleyes, I've been waiting for you.... Congratulations She may have had surgery on the 6th?..
  5. So happy for you! There's nothing like watching and living with a child that isn't totally healthy. Praise the Lord.
  6. Wow I'm just seeing this post for the first time. I just posted my barium swallow pics a few days ago thinking It's good to show newbies what the band looks like inside, and you have. You look about as tight as I feel. Nice pics!
  7. Welcome Home
  8. Sweetheart, Thanks for the update. Take care of yourself as well. When Billy gets uptight, on edge and sort of shaky I hear him say "I forgot/need to take my meds". He take toprol.
  9. My Dad was a bee keeper. When the queen swarms, we'd have to get the water hoses out. I once pulled 7 stingers out of his neck. I love honey
  10. I've noticed in myself, that if things don't go smoothly and something upsets my groove, I get very upset. I've told myself for years that when you fix something, something eles breaks, it's just part of life. But I'm having a hard time with anxiety and overload. I don't have advice, but can understand your feelings...
  11. Jack, I'm doing great. Thanks Nykee, some doctors to barium check right after banding, before you leave the hospital. This is the same procedure that is used when getting a fluoroscopy fill. Dr. Sanchez felt the need for this check considering all I’ve been through, with the re-banding. The last pic was done by Dr. McKeen. That is contrast showing the leak on my old tubing/band. Judy, I have No fill. I'm very tight. It's been 1 week since re-banding. I just thought these pics were interesting and for those who haven't seen a band inside.

Nice Trish I love ceramics!!! I use to throw pots, but my fav is sculputure. I came 2nd place in an art scholarship. My other favorite is wax casting jewelry. The girl who got the scholarship never finished her degree… If I had the time.......I have some fishes to do.
  13. Oh Sweetheart, Big hugs to both of you. Gods fate you are close by.
  14. This is my old port, see the leak?
  15. In front...
  16. Here's a few pic's of my band during a Barium swallow just 2 days after banding. This pic was taken while I was lying on the table at a 45 degree angle taken from above.

  19. So Glad your Home! Dang, I never saw a roach the 2 times I was there, I did kill a ckicket in the dinning room the first night now that I think about it. That would have freeked me out too. I'll have to inform Judy, she's going down at the end of the month. It was nice to meet you and chat about all the body issues and PS. Congratulations 13lbs is great!
  20. Happy Birthday Megan, Your still a Baby
  21. Meshawn, I can't stand liquids anymore!!! I did a 1/2 yogart for lunch and the 4 spoons of jello here and there is about all I can take. I been takeing prevacid for 4 days now and my esophagus feels better, was haveing pain-heartburn every time I drank something. This band is different from my first, that's for sure, I'm tighter from the start. Hang in there your still healling. Things will get better. Say Hi to Mom. DoubleBandedVera
  22. gypj (I sure have a hard time calling you this, how bout a nic name?) Are you under cover? If I'm guessing right, didn't they turn you upside down durning an x-ray? which threw off your groove....and you want to start excersizing? Take it slow. Am I part off this group? I did get a new band. :banana :banana Spring-Banders? Congratraulations everyone! DBV
