Comes complete with outdoor plumbing. LOL thanks for the laugh!
  7. Erosion does happen! Cost for having the band removed is the only issue I have here. I know if it were to happen to me Dr. Sanchez would not charge me. He knows things happen, even to the best doctors and takes account for them. When I was crying on the phone to Dr. Sanchez because of my tubing leak, he instructed me to see him ASAP and he took care of me, when I had to have my band replaced he did not charge me one dime.
  8. Dr. Ortiz, I would like to thank you as well but would like to point out the costs involved. Most seeking a band that don’t have insurance to pay for them seek services in Mexico like your own. You are aware of this and have made it your bussiness. If the erosion rate is 1% why don’t you reflect costs for complications and band removal? Why do these poor people have to pay for their bands and then pay to have them removed? This removal service should be under costs for follow-up service when the band is placed.
  9. Thanks for the update Angie, I've been thinking about you. Sounds like a great doctor. Take it easy

1/21/06 It wasn't the Paxil, I've got the full blown FLU. I'm really sick, no energy, backache, dizzy....
  14. I'm being bumped! Cool It's only 3 days later I've got a pot of Turkey Marinara Sauce cooking, the kind you just about put in anything... Then if I get some energy i'll make it into a lasanga. My fridge is almost always packed, I happen to be home with a sick kid so I cook.

1-18-06 Update, I took 1 12.5mg Paxil last night and woke up dizzy, chills, backache, headache and just all around weird. I thought it might pass…Not. Called the doctor he said this is the first time he’s heard of my problems and of course don’t take anymore, he offered other meds but when I asked what he recommend, he said lets wait for your test results and to talk to the shrink. Which we should have done anyway.
  16. Penni I’ve been thinking of you all morning, something Christina said…You’ve done everything for everyone else and it’s your turn now! You’ve accomplished so much, having a family at an early age, supporting others in need, and always being there for others. It’s time for YOU. What amazes me, is your not a quitter, you’ve been through so much and just keep going. Eveready Penni!
  17. Sound like the tubing disconected from the band and the band is deflatting?? I've been re-banded due to a faulty tube that kinked and produced a hole in the kink. Once I knew I had a problem I wanted the problem solved, even if it ment re-banding. It's good to know your doctor is not charging you. Crap happens I'm proud of you being able to loose and diet with a problem tube/band. Cheers and Hugs to you Ruth

Thanks Sweety The fisrt person I thought of was you cause I knew you took it. What was explained to me was...there's 3 types of anti-depres. Paxil is in the same family of Prozac, Zolof and Exolex?(spel), Paxil will help with sleeping. This is a trial. I also am having my Hormone levels checked, my shrink thinks I'm in pre/mentopause... I can't remember, I don't want people over, I don't want to do about anything, I wake up at 2 and can't get back to sleep till 4 then I've got to get up and I don't what to, plus I cry for no reason. If there's something wrong with me that can be helped with meds, I'm willing to try. I do believe there may be some hormonal thing going on as well, so I'm waiting on test results. Thanks for caring! I'll keep you updated. Vera

  24. Here's Carol's famous Las Vegas Crab Dip! Carol’s Crab Dip Recipe 1 lb of cleaned and cracked crab meat (I buy it at a fish market) 1 block of cream cheese (room temperature) 4-6 stalks of celery (chopped fine) 6-8 stalks of green onion (sliced very fine) 1 cup mayonnaise 6-8 shakes of Tabasco 1 pkg Gelatin 1 tbsp Water 1 can cream of mushroom soup garlic powder to taste (optional) Heat can of mushroom soup just till boiling. Remove from heat and add gelatin (already mixed with 1 tbsp water). Cool slightly. In a mixer beat cream cheese and mayonnaise together. Add all other ingredients except crab. Mix in soup mix and then add crab. Put in mold or container. Should cool overnight or at least most of the day. Serve with crackers (triscuit or wheat thins are best) or with sliced baguette. (or for bandsters plain with a fork is great).
