Well i have no pain. however i am not keeping things down well. They sent me home with a PILL anitibiotic are you kidding me i have to brake it into 4's. But my question is this. I feel like i have something stuck in my throat all the time. I have taken the gas x and make my man "burp" me and that helps tempory is this normal.

:biggrinjester: well here i am on the other side. I am doing great, however the gas is a pain in the A** well ok maybe not there but you know what i mean. I get to go back home in the am and am so happy to be heading home. I will give you more of an update later.

well i hope this helps you i had my sleeve 3 days ago here in mexico and am doing great. The gas is the biggest problem. I am going home in the morning. Do what you feel is best for you in you heart. You must of had a reason for wanting to do this. There is a thread on here called the WLS DO's and DON't you should look for it . It made me think.. I wish you best in your journey.

I 2 am in the same boat as you. I was told to do the liquid diet for 3 day however i love killing my self i guess so i started on monday. I am being sleeved on the 31st as well in MX. The good thing is i have lost 9.2lbs since monday. Well i wish you luck.

Well just called to make sure my hotel room is set. All my ducks are in a row. Now i just need to pack my bag so that i can leave to MX on sunday. To tell you the trueth i have more fear of flying and getting lost once i get to San D. Oh well wish me luck

I know what you mean.. As i sit here and write this post i have some of my co-workers asking my are you scared, are you sure you want to go thru with this. They all know that i leave to Mexico ALONE on sunday. I am doing this for my kids and so that i will be here for them and maybe some day some grandkids. I have been big since i was 10 years old i just turned 34 and i want to be small. I know what it is like to be smaller i went from 250lbs to 185lbs size 26 to a 12 in 4 months on the HCG diet but as you all know it is back and more. So I am sitting here drinking my tea and getting ready the THE NEW ME!!!. I wish you the best of luck and you will be ok.

i am having my surgery the same day as you. I fly out of washington to cali on thd 30th then i have my surgery on the 31st i am so very happy and scared at the same time. Wish you the best of luck...

Thank you for all the input. I know that it is all going to be up to me at the end of the day. I have done so many diets and i love working out. I just hate doing it and not seeing the scale move ...Down that is...

So i have seen many people on here that have been say 10 months out but not much more than that. i am just wondering how long ago was your sleeve done and have you had any problems with the weight being put back on? any info would be nice.

Well i only have 12 more days until i am part of the group...I am still very scared of flying since i am having my surgery in mexico and i live in washington. But i am starting to have the fear of the surgery as well. I know i will be fine that i will return home to my husband and kids with little to no complications. But no matter how much i tell my self that i still just wonder. But at 34 i am so ready for this. I have been over weight since i was 10 y/o and so many yo-yo diets. I just want to be here for my kids for a very long time and just want my man to be able to hold me tight with out things getting in the way. Well see you all on the other side.

I have told my mom,kids and my husband to be. He really does not understand it. Well why should he, he has been thin all his life. My mom is happy for me she is just worried about me. I have told my co-workers all 3 of them and they dont get it. But I really dont care I just turned 34 and am done of with the yo-yo diets and i am getting married next year. and i want to be and AM GOING to be a hot bride!!!! I say this no matter what any one tells you, this is your life, your body, your mind do what is going to make you happy. I know as a big person i have done so many things for every one around me to make them happy and at some point you just have to say to hell with them what about me.. This would be the time. I will be sleeved 10-31-11. My family thinks that is a bad day to have it done but it is just like any other day to me. I am so realy to start my new life...

Thank you for the information. I am having my surgery on 10-31-11 and i am only worried about the lbs going off slow. But from the sounds of it you did well no matter what so that makes me feel better thank you so much.

Oh i know all this i have had a probelm with my thryroid for about 12 years however the older i get the higher it goes up. I am seeing a special dr for it now and he has changed some things that no one ever told me. Like take my meds at night and DO NOT take it with any other meds. i get my blood work done again in two weeks so we will see if this helps. thank you

I am person that is haveing a very BIG problem with my thyroid. Norm is 4.5 and my levels are 20.82 i went and seen a dr a week ago and i was told that even if i have the surgery until i can get my thryroid levels downto normal i am going to continue to struggle with my wieght, I really hope this all works for me i take my meds every day and do what they are now telling me to do so i really hope my levels go down soon and stay down or i may a very un-happy person.

To tell you the truth i am more fearfull of the flight than i am the surgery. I am so not sure what to even expect..I have read so many things from this site. Most very good others well not so good. I was unable to find any one to go with me so i am glad to know that there is others that will be there at the same time. However not so happy that it relly sounds like the way they do things is for the money and push as many thru as they can. I can see why however i wonder if this is a bad thing that could cause errors, I work in the medical filed and so i will make sure it is known if i am in pain and nothing is being done about it. I have already seen my doctor here in the us to make sure i am healthy in her eyes and that she does not see any thing wrong with it, She also told me should would look into the place and let me know if she hears any thing bab. I was wondering i seen a lot of people with "tickers" on the bottom of the page that track wieght loss... how can i get one of those.
