  1. I,m kinda new on mine also, but I use 30min. as my allotted time on it 4 or 5 days a week. Right now I,m at 4 for 28 min and then kick it up to 7 for the last 2 min. I know I said 30 min. but I forgot that I do a cool down for 3 min at 3. I might be tired and used up right after getting off of it,but it sure seems like it gives more energy than if I don,t use it. Just my 2cents worth.
  2. I have noticed when I am very tight if I have a drink before dinner it seems to loosen the band a little so the first bites go down a little better. Anybody else think the same way? Terry
  3. Been on a plateau for at least a couple of monthes and could'nt quite break the 200 mark I kept boucing around 204-205-201 etc. Had a fill about six wks. ago and it seems like it's just now kicking in or something I know it seems like a long delay, but food just doesn't seem to have that hold on me the last 2or3 wks. like before. Any way the last wk. I dropped to 195.6 or 198 and have stayed there so I think it's safe to say I've made it to onederland even though my goal is 175or 180.
  4. I agree with Wendell on this one also I had a few pb's before my last fill, but I think I was just forgeting or getting lazy on the banster rules as far as chewing well and taking time in between bites. I just got a fill(3.05 in a 10cmband) and it was a new learning curve. just take your time and see how your new fill respond's to your eating habit's.It does work Terry

  7. Wendel what size is your band? is it a vg
  8. I was banded 3/29 from dr. K and have been filled twice, just wondering why you waited so so for your first fill?,If you don't mind me asking?Terry
  9. Can somebody start a poll for how much fill is in a 10ccband like the 4cc band poll just trying to see where I'm at I currently have 4cc.not much retriction does this sound close thanks terry.
  10. I ust had my second fill last wk. 4cc in a 10cm. band. My question is I am chewing my food well and it goes down and does'nt really get stuck, but I can kind of feel each bite as it will kind of hang at my band then it will slowly pass thru, no pain just basically eat one bite at a time till everything goes thru. I am wondering when I get closer to proper restriction does the food just stay at the pouch and not really go down? I do feel feel much fuller than before my feel but still feel it's still mostly willpower rather than the band helping with wt. loss.Hope I did'nt ramble on but just hoping more fill will keep things from going thru so fast.loking for feedback from people closer to their sweet spot thanks terry
  11. Has anyone used or talked to the uw hospital as far as doing fills after surgery elsewhere? I'm starting to get cold feet with dr. sundbyatdean care. just wonderering about their hoops to jump thru etc. and costs
  12. shesha have you been to dr. sunby lately? Or for that matter anybody else from wi. I had my surgery in denver, and was possibly going there for fills or maybe in neenah wi. just wondering where dr. sunby was with his fee schedule. They want me to go to support groups and to see a nutrishinist etc. stuff I've already done Any feedback Terry
  13. My dr. is really big on the asprin per day thing for prevenitive heart problems etc. I just had my annual check-up last wk. and forgot to ask him about asprin being a nsaid(not for sure if this is the correct term),but part of the pain releivers that are on the list that we are not supossed to take? thanks terry
  14. lucky you have insurance!!terry
  15. It's hard to bielive how many differant opinions from the doctors who are doing the surgery is'nt it? Most of us have the inamed band would'nt you think all doctors get the same information when they get trained?terry
