Memory Loss, Chewing Gum, Olives & Pickled Okra... >.>
WOW!! That's a lot of stuff to cover. I was on 21 meds when I had my surgery and now I am on none. So as far as the memory, mine is much better. I don't know how it is affecting others. My doc did not say not to chew gum, so I suppose he doesn't think it is a biggie. On my soft food diet, I could have veggies cooked to mush. I was told not to eat pickled anything for several months. Does that cover it all?

Your Meals Each Day
Y'all need to get a myfitnesspal account. Then you can track your food /calories / exercise and also see what everyone else is eating too. I have a couple of hundred friends on my account from here. The app is free..give it whirl. You've got nothing to lose but weight. My name is the same there as here. Look me up. There is also a thread here with names of people that have accounts. Look it up too.Good luck!

Bonofide Stall How Do You Break It?!
The majority of us have a stall between 2-4 weeks post op. Most people call it the 3 week stall. It is pretty much your body going into shock from what you have done to it...lol. Just hold on, it will pass. You are WAY to early out to be worrying about weight loss. Just make sure you are getting plenty of fluids and as much protein as you can and you will see progress very soon. You are probably getting smaller right now, even without the scale moving

Adventures Of Sex Werewolf And Punch Clock Jonnie!
Hon, women's sex drive tend to go up DRAMATICLY! It is because of the extra hormones that are being dumped into your system from the fat loss (fat stores estrogen). My husband and I had got to where we only had sex about once a month. Now I could have him for dessert after every meal! It is a complete 180 for me. He is still in shock and trying to keep up

6 Month Surgiversary And 111# Down
I Am sharing my Facebook post to my friends: Well, today was my 6 month post-surgical visit with Dr. Pinson and here is the run down: I am down 111# and 100 some-odd inches. I have went from a size 28 to a 16. I am off the walker, cane, and 21 medicines. I no longer suffer in continual, crippling pain from the Fibromyalgia, but can walk, without even a limp, a 20 minute mile. A VSG patient is considered a success if they have lost 60% of their excess body weight by 18 months post-surgery. I have lost 75% already, so today I was "pinned". I received my gold pin of success. I asked him if he thought I would be able to get another 40# off in the next 6 months. He said, "OH, YEAH! with a doubt." He was ecstatic with the progress I have made (he was cheering me like I had just won the Super Bowl...lol) and said, "I can't wait to see what you look like in another 3 months." YAY!! I am soo excited. I have not been this small in almost 20 years and I haven't felt as well in I know 10. Y'all just hang around and watch me disappear ;0)...and if you want to try it too, give me a call. All you've got to lose is sore feet, aching backs, the medicine bag, big butts and bellies and a lot of inches. It's not a magic bullet by far, but it is a shovel (a tool) to help FILL IN the hole you are in. It sure beats getting deeper and continuing to dig your grave with a spoon! Labor Day Challenge 2012
I saw you in that dress...WTG!! It is soo awesome to be able to watch the clock roll backwards. It made me want to try mine on too. So, I got the hubby to help me into it Saturday night. Yes, I had to have help. That thing is huge! It has a cathedral train that filled most of our living room. Anywho..it was falling off too big. I figured it up, I weight 45# less now than I did then. I told my hubby, when I get to goal, I may have it taken-up. I would like to have some pictures made in it; so I can look like how I wish I could have then. It truly is the most beautiful dress I have ever seen.
