  1. Did you buy a heart rate strap separately? or does this device monitor heart and caloric burn on it's own? I see it on ebay for 159.00 on ebay and free shipping! i think I will get it! Is this something I can wear all day?
  2. Isn't that the most awesome feeling!!?? As others have said, keep one pair of your largest pants so you can try it on throughout and see how far you've come!
  3. Yah were here for you! Good luck!
  4. Personally I would see another gastro doc As mis73 has stated, he likely doesn't understand the band

  6. I just posted this too! It's very cool Especially that he's so open about it
  7. My doctor told me that the way the pouch stretches is if you get stuck for a long period of time and the food just sits in your pouch. A little stuck episode isn't bad, just if you stay stuck for a long period of time. Thats what my doc saud, but every doc varies a bit...
  8. Any other celebs/famous people with bands?

  10. Wow, I'd also be bummed out! Next time just tell him that if he has nothing positive to say about your weight loss then he should keep his mouth SHUT!
  11. Interesting... When I saw the ads I was on a public computer (at work) Very interesting....
  12. It's really hard! In the past I used to hate dating and getting all "dolled up". I thought this would magically change once I lost the weight, but now i'm down nearly 60 lbs and still struggle. I always feel insecure and still feel like the "fatso" I still wear clothes that are too big on me, and get nervous shopping (I remember with shame how I used to shop in the oversized sections of stores or shop at specialty stores like lane bryant for big clothes ) It takes time for our minds to adjust to our new bodies and behave accordingly. I am very confident that given time, we will start feeling more comfortable with our new looks!
  13. I also LOVE that I know longer have any arch pain in my foot!
  14. Feel better!
  15. What has been trying to come? your menstrual cycle? Has it always been irregular? It could be that your body is still shocked from the anesthesia
  16. How can a website like this get hacked??
  17. Interesting thread! I have band, but never had bypass I enjoy reading this because it makes me appreciate my decision GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!
  18. I accidentally posted this in the wrong category so i'm reposting this here Today I was browsing the site and I noticed an ad that showed a picture of a woman's (extremely large) rear end with the words "give ugly girls a chance, they need love too!" (website: f-sluts.net) uhhh... I was kinda offended!! I quite frankly would expect more class from a website like this

  20. Carb cycling this week! Anyone else?
  21. whoa!!! what a huge difference!! GO YOU!
  22. No, vomiting is different than sliming/pb'ing When we vomit, our stomach's forcefully and violently contract below the band. sliming and PB'ing is when the food comes up from above the band Seems similar, but in banding world they are very different
  23. Thanks Cazzy! I appreciate the response! I just went in for an unfill and still feel some discomfort (less than before) but I am hoping it's just lingering irritation and not a major problem! (fingers crossed)
