  1. Sleeve. Too many band complications. Plus u need to eventually change it down the line w/another surgery. Band weight comes back for most. Sleeve is once. It's gauranteed and it's forever. My 2 cents. I did the sleeve.
  2. Wow I was told not to lift or exercise till at least 5 wks out. Glad u r doing great! :0)
  3. I'm need to ask this again .. Why do u all say to increase calories to lose weight? And how is that even possible 1-2 mos post op in a healthy way??
  4. How could few calories in the first month be a bad thing? There's no way I can get more in personally in this first month, but I don't understand how it would stop weightless as u say.
  5. I'm experiencing everything you have mentioned. I'd like answers, too. Good post.
  6. Be in a healthy relationship/date. Haven't had a date for two years. Not b isolated anymore. Laugh again. :0)
  7. I want to b called skinny like I was In high school I was size 0 n now I'm size 2x
  8. I have sf and ff everything. Low fat too and 0% or 2% yogurts. I am afraid to add more calories than necessary because I don't count. I just have three tablespoons of something three times a day and one protein drink and sf snacks twice a day. I don't understand how upping the calories helps lose weight. I was always taught less is more and will help weight drop faster.
  9. So weird I was allowed salad n plain veggies during the two wk prep diet n all went fine. They said my liver was fine.
  10. I'm experiencing the opposite cuz I have not eaten much at all prior or during it. And having it couple weeks after surgery is painful. I also slept a lot and had a lot of naseau.
  11. I am thankful so far t(hree wks almost after surgery) that I can easily Reach n wipe my butt :0/ well, it's the truth.
  12. I totally didn't even ask about it till the surgery was over n wish I had remembered such an important question. He used a bougie and some surgeons just eye ball it.
  13. I'm Surprised no one has mentioned the risk u r taking driving or even going into a car if it's not really necessary until healed due to possible accident or sharp stop n rupture to your sleeve . Be careful people.
  14. Ah ha! I see. I need to drink more, as well. It's not easy.
  15. I'm at 2.5 wks myself n there's less pain but there are gonna b those ups n downs. I lost 25 pounds as of today and at first I thought it wasn't much but now I think it's great! I guess I can learn something from your post and say to u n me both to not b so hard on ourselves. Hugs!!! :0)
  16. I will do this too but my dr still said I must get the mushys in anyway. I had a hard morning with the pain u r all taking about here. Good luck :0)
