  1. Hi copmom. I wasn't on your list before but would be glad to be added. My email is ppeltz@yahoo.com.
  2. Bariatric choice.com
  3. I have never been more sure that I made the right decision to go band to RNY. It has resolved or is resolving ALL of my medical problems. My surgery was 2/20/13.
  4. Are any of you "allowed" to take tablets? I want to start taking glucosamine and it is a fairly large tablet. Will it dissolve in my pouch? I crushed the first one and it tastes nasty. I cannot afford the liquid. I saw my doc today and he is fine with me taking it but I forgot to discuss form. Thanks.
  5. Try eggface's website. She has lots of WLS friendly recipes.
  6. Flonase. But you have to use it daily. I also take Allegra when I can afford it.
  7. Before surgery 268 2weeks ck 238 4 wk ck today 232 And now I'm on reg food!!
  8. You are not offensive. I like your tactful posts. Keep it up.
  9. I got the most awesome box today! It has a little lunch box, a small container, a pack of silicone cupcake liners, and 3 Torani sf flavorings. Thank you KACY!!
  10. My surgeon said weight loss ramps when you get on regular food. Don't know why but its what he said.
  11. We all slip up. If you can tolerate them allow yourself one or two a week as a job well done for sticking to your plan the rest of the week. Don't beat yourself up.
  12. Glucosamine is for bone and joint pain. Not a sweetener.
  13. Have you had your surgery yet? It was my understanding RNY cures gerd. Which procedure did you have?
  14. I'm getting tempted to try! Thanks for the idea.
  15. My band to RNY done all at once. They emptied the band before surgery. Done 2/20/13. So glad I did it.
  16. No pain. I actually had very little since about day 5.
  17. How do you know you don't need it? I'd love to retire mine. Only 22 days post op.
  18. How far past surgery are you? Is it really worth it if you don't dump? Then you will keep eating all the foods that got you here in the first place. I personally would rather avoid the poison and find something you can enjoy. I will be praying for you.
  19. Also try varying your workout. Walk longer or shorter. Do different exercises. Confuse your body. Also works to have a high(er) calorie day every now and then. Consistent low calorie days cause your body to stay in starvation mode and hang on to each calorie seeking homeostasis.
  20. I will have to purée mine! Yum...?
  21. I had forgotten about quinoa. Thanks for the reminder!
  22. Really happy for you! Good job!
  23. BBdoodle: isn't alca seltzer carbonated? Bubbly? My understanding is that is a big no-no. Please check with your md. It could hurt you.
