  1. Wow glad to hear your story. I am glad you are on the upswing. Keep us posted. Lily
  2. I avoid raw eggs due to the chance of getting Salmonella. But thank you for the other information everyone. Lily
  3. I have not had the surgery yet. But I have heard from some that they were ready to get back to work within 1 week and others needed longer. I guess it is up to the way you heal and overcome the gas that is pumped into your abdomen. I can not say but maybe others that have had the surgery will be able to let you know what to somewhat expect. Lily
  4. Congratulations Skeebo! Keep us updated on your amazing progress. Lily
  5. Congratulations on reaching your goal! Thank you for the wonderful update and I hope you post every now and then to update us on how your journey is going at maintenance. Lily
  6. Congratulations on starting your new way of life! Lily
  7. Just an FYI the sleeve is the first step in a duodenal switch. So you could try the sleeve and if you are not progressing as well as you like then you can get the second portion on the surgery that would include the malabsorption (DS). Lily
  8. Doc scale would be more accurate. Make sure your scale is on level ground and not carpet (they can both give off results). Gayle I think eveyone would love to have your WII fit scale :-) Lily
  9. I am assuming the staples that were removed were used to close the areas on the abdomen where the instruments went in. The staples used on the stomach will stay in for life. Lily
  10. I am happy that you were able to confide in your dad and he was supportive. Have you got a date yet? Lily
  11. Tiff you always bring it! I love your photos and I am excited that one day I too may be able to dress up in a sexy costume and not worry as to what is going to POP out. Lily
  12. Wow is all I can say! I would never have recognised you in your after photo if I only knew you from before. Keep up the great work. You are an inspiration to everyone. Lily
  13. Congratulations on not touching the candy! When I read 97 candy bars I was wow did someone fall off the wagon. And nope you just made it more fun to read the posting. keep up the great progress! Lily

  15. You guys are rocking your sleeve! Keep up the great progress and I can not wait to see the next comparison photos and the weight that you have lost. Lily
  16. I am in utter awe as to your progress! Thank you for all the video and picture updates. You keep me inspired as do the rest of the "loosers". I know you can loose the 11 lbs this month and make the 100 mark. You look like a totally different person from your before and after pics. Now I have to wait patiently for next months update :-) Keep up the great progress Lily
  17. Ohhh I have been waiting for your update! It makes my day to see the possibilities of the sleeve and how you are coping with it. I am excited to see the comparison pictures in Part 2. Keep up the great work! Lily

  20. I would call this an interesting NSV. Someone has noticed your weightloss and wants you to show off your new body. Albeit yelling might have been a bit much. Congratulations on the wonderful weightloss. Keep us posted. Lily
  21. Yahhhh! I am so happy for you. Lily
  22. I can't wait for the day when I walk by a mirror and do not recognise myself skinny. I do it now as I do not believe that I am as big as I look in the mirror. The mirror never lies (unless its a trick mirror lol). I have to say congratulations on making it to a healthy BMI and living a healthy lifestyle like we were ment to do. Lily
  23. Looking great! glad you shared with us. Lily
  24. Have you looked into Champx? I know several long time heavy smokers that quit with it and they never went through the cravings. Just a thought to help with the craving for a ciggie. Congrats on quitting smoking btw! Lily
  25. Yahhhh on getting a date! You will soon be on the loosers bench. Lily
