DUMPING Syndrome...it's not just for bypass patients
Almost sounds like a tolerance issue. That you can have a certain amount before it comes on. And that specific foods will react more than others. I would suggest staying away from the food that gives you the issue right off. If it happens at a specific time I would just avoid having said product at that time. Other than that if you really would like something sweet only have it once in awhile your not giving it up just limiting it. That is all I can suggest for now. Just track and see what works and what doesnt. Lily

5 Weeks post op and no weight loss
lil red raider makes a good point. You should check your inches as well as your weight and see where you are losing. You may in fact be building muscle which wieghs more than fat. So you would be losing fat and gaining muscle which you will see a difference in your inches and not your weight. Give it time you will get past this stall in due time. Lily

What nsv are you looking forward to?
Going to a patio party and fitting in those itsy bitsy plastic seats without my thighs bluging out the sides and the worry that is this chair going to break. Shopping at a non-plus size store and getting great deals traveling around the world and feeling comfortable in the airplane seats back in coach Lily

Suegery Scheduled Nov 15th
I think everyone has a fear of the unknown. Having to wait as long as I have there have been times that I think what am I doing! And then I see the progress of so many and say yes that is why I am going to do this. I have no advice as to how to over come this. I think everyone has to deal with this scary unknown in their own way. Hope this has helped. Lily

Cindy's Story
You are taking charge of your own health. I say kudo's to you! You might want to sit down with your teens and discuss why they are not being supportive. It could be due to not knowing enough information about the sleeve surgery. There is alot of support here on the boards. It might be good to find a buddy on here that you can just talk too when you are feeling overwhelmed. Lily

Here is my story....
Wow it seems there are several people that have had problems with the band. Too bad you had to wait 3 years to find out that there was a leak in the band. I doubt your doctor who left knew there was a problem but you were ment to meet the new doctor and find a positive out come. Keep us updated on your progress. Lily
