  1. There is a liquid calcium made by Wellesse. It is calcium citrate with Vit D and it tastes not too shabby. I found it at costco but I am sure you will find it other places. Lily
  2. Are you allowed scrambled eggs? Slice of lunch meat like ham, turkey, chicken? How about cream cheese or laughing cow cheese (not sure if you get that in the states. Chicken or beef broth or the packet from Ramen noodles (DO NOT eat the noodles just the packet). Peanut Butter (1 tbsp) with a scoop of Protein powder (called a sludge) I can not remember who suggested that on here but I sure have remembered that. Are you allowed soft flakey fish fillets? Tuna in the can mixed with dill pickle relish. I am not sure what stage of foods you are at but you can judge as to what you can have now and what you will have to wait to have. Lily
  3. Well I have had 2 of the 3 suggested and I never even had the idea of death cross my mind for either. Kind of puts me at ease for the surgery. Thanks Julia Lily
  4. How about making smaller goals. Instead of thinking you cannot make it another day. How about set the goal of making it to the evening. Then set the next small goal to achieve. Breaking it down will make it seem more manageable. I am not sure about how you are feeling as I have not made it to my surgery or even pre-op. I can say that just know in your heart that you have made it 4 days what a great accomplishment. Think of how it is only 1 more day and then you will be doing your labs. You can always come here for help with any issue, even one of just needing an emotional boost. Keep up the great work and keep us posted on your progress. Lily
  5. Which complications are you meaning? I have heard of more complications with the band than I have for the sleeve. Lily
  6. Glad to have you posting your experience on here Seattle. Congratulations on starting your journey to a healthier new you! Keep us posted on your progress. Lily
  7. I think feedyoueye has a great idea. Put off the 2nd surgery until you know that you do not need the second part of the surgery. I am sure if you show great progress with just the sleeve your doctor will not continue with the second part. Lily
  8. Congratulations on getting a date to start your journey to a healthier you! Keep us posted on your progress. Lily
  9. Will you have to blend your food so that you get more variety for the time being? I feel for you and all that you are going through, but investing in the health of your mouth is just as important as investing in the health of the rest of your body. I am sending my prays to you. Lily
  10. Keep up the great work and keep us posted of your progress. Congratulations on your success so far. Lily
  11. People always put down others to make themselves feel better. They have low self esteem and need to bring others down with their negative comments. I would suggest trying to not listen to what others say and truly know that you look beautiful inside and out. I know it is hard to ignore the comments but try to push it aside and not let them rule how you feel. Only you can let them make you feel bad. So keep your head up and push the negative comments out and just remember that you are doing great and will continue until you feel you have achieved the goal that you want. Lily
  12. Ohh and glad you are feeling better Diva! Sorry forgot to add that to my last post. Lily
  13. Was it the lactose that was bothering you? I was curious does the whey protien affect the same way as milk does? Lily
  14. Lookin good! Glad you posted your pictures. You are doing great. Lily
  15. I am sure you can get your Vitamins from anywhere. Just a note you need to take your calcium and Iron I think its 3 or 4 hours apart. Check with the pharmacist they will know the exact time. Lily
  16. Welcome to the group Viv! I can not wait to hear you progress, keep us updated. Lily
  17. I think everyone goes through those feelings. I still have to wait till February till I get my surgery, and I constantly am saying "Will I be able to go through with this?" Then I read all the different outcomes and I believe that yes I can and I will. Nerves are a part of the course and I understand fully what you are going through. Keep us posted on your surgery. Lily
  18. Humm good question. I know you are there for 3 days and they like you to move around have fluids and I am sure get rest. I have not yet had the sleeve and cannot fully comment. I am sure a veteran sleever will give you an idea as to what to somewhat expect. Lily
  19. Do you have a date booked or a time that you are planning on going? I am sure there are several Dr Aceves soon to be patients on this forum. I will be one in Feb 2011. Lily
  20. Not me with the CSF problem it is onikenbai whom has the excess CSF in their system. Heres hoping Onikenbai you will find a way to relieve the excess CSF and your headaches. Lily
  21. CSF is cerebral spinal Fluid. The fluid around your brain and spine. Lily
  22. Are you able to have Peanut Butter yet? I read on here awhile back that someone makes a Protein sludge where you take a spoon of peanut butter and mix it with a scoop or half a scoop of your protein (I cannot remember if whole or half a scoop). It is a small amount to get in that is packed with protein. But I am not sure if you are able to have peanut butter at your stage. If you can this could be a easy option to get in an extra shot of protein not only from the PB but also the protien powder. If not well you can have this idea for when you can have PB and need a protein boost. Lily
  23. I got the undefined thingy too. I just stared at it for a couple of mins and then my post went through and the undefined disappeared. I have no idea about the ticker all it says is you have not updated it in 80 days. Maybe a new one might do the trick. Lily
  24. I think Tiffykins lives in Florida. She is a vast wealth of knowledge on this forum. I personally have not had the sleeve yet! I will be getting my sleeve in the new year and I cannot wait for it. Lily
