  1. I am glad that I get hungry about every 4 hours because I am only able to eat about 2 sometimes 3 ounces depending on what it is at a time and the little bits of food spread out is keeping my metabolism going good. I am losing weight really well like this! I eat about 4 to 6 times a day since I get hungry every 3 hours or so. I am definitely getting "hunger" and emptiness/hollow feeling LOL. I know the difference between that and the acid, which I toned down a whole lot with omeprazole early on.
  2. Oh don't worry about it. I have been a chocolate lover since a child and an addict! LOL No matter what any of us say or tell you .....you will just have to see for yourself after surgery and laugh about it later.......but you will be so full most of the time that everything will be ok with your chocolate addiction. Before surgery I was one of the greediest women on the planet (seriously!). i am still greedy right now "in my head", but my stomach just won't allow it!!! However, my head cravings/greediness is getting a lot better. I don't bother too much with the SF chocolate type stuff because it gives me bathroom issues if you know what I mean. Plus it hasn't been necessary honestly.....after I have finished my meal and if my tummy feels okay, I "do" eat a couple of hershey's minatures or a reese's pb cup and KAZAAM I am full as a tic plus my craving is satisfied and gone. I had the regular/normal stall around my 3rd or 4th week, but other than that my weight loss has been pretty steady, fast and good without giving up chocolate all together. I think that the lack of good moderation and larger portions we were eating of it was the problem, but overeating is no longer a problem! Good Luck
  3. Oh my....you look so pretty and so good. I think your size looks perfect right now and your skin/shape looks GREAT!!! I watched several of your vids. I laughed quite a bit at your "denial" video, not because you were actually being funny because I know that wasn't the your intentions......however while listening to you talk on the subject and comparing it to my own personal experiences and denial issues....I had to laugh! A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to you!!!!! I can't wait to be able to say that I've lost 100+ lbs
  4. I think that adding the exercise to your life style is going to improve your results a whole lot!! :-)
  5. :cheer2:WAY TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. I did the same thing and made pizzas with the low carb tortilla, got the idea from the eggface site and really like it! :-)
  7. Trust me...."whatever you decide to do" you are only going to be able to eat a few bites or 1 chicken wingette - 2 at THE MOST! I did the same thing and tried to put a lot of thought into it. What can I eat here and if I go there and if we cook out or go to the beach, the mall, the movies, etc....Now I see that the reality of it is "what is the point"? LOL It is one of those things that you just have to see for yourself.........just how full you are going to be from barely eating anything at all.
  8. Well for you there is NOTHING wrong with it because you look GREAT!!! LOL However, I hope not to lose "that much" because I would be a combination of strange/funny/ugly!!!!
  9. Nooooo......I think you did rather good with protein and everything (61g is great at your stage). It looks like you've lost 33lbs in 9 days. That is awesome!!!! I only lost like 20lbs in 14 days LOL.
  10. Soft boiled eggs, deviled eggs, egg salad, scrambled and poached eggs are all in the soft foods category. They are a good choice and I can only eat one egg no matter how it is cooked or prepared so I don't really worry about the calories
  11. Coops that is AWESOME :-) Now is your time to shine. You are going to reach goal soon I just know it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:bananapowerslide:
  12. If I only knew myself because I still can't get rid of my sweet tooth and artificial sweetener or sugar free Popsicles just don't cut it for me. I've handled it by fixing me a sweet drink (pineapple and cherry juice ice cold with a straw) or sometimes buying a slushie. Yeah it has sugar and carbs,but at least it is fat free and it is way better than how I used to satisfy my sweet tooth. Also, having a sweet drink or slushie hasn't slowed down my weight loss any at all and it satisfies me. I know a lot of other people on here wouldn't even dare have that, but you gotta find something that works for you without sabotaging your weight loss and that is what works for me :-)
  13. Sweetheart to be very honest with you.........YES you could do a little better....on another note...WE ALL could do a little better, but to be 21 years old this was a major step for you as far as the courage to have it done and the discipline and responsibility health wise. I think that you are doing a really good job. You are steering away from fast foods and that is a BIG difference for you and your body. I think that the rate you are losing your weight is actually a good and healthy rate and look how much you've lost so far!!!!! The only thing honey is that I really do think that you need to take your vitamins. I'm not big on taking pills neither, so I keep mine at two every morning (Women's One A Day Active Metabolism and a Hair, Skin, and Nails vitamin with 1000 mg of Biotin in it to help prevent hair loss and such) . I figure if nothing else I can at least take two good vitamins :-) Keep up the good work and you are being active which is a really good thing too! Your eating habits will continue to gradually get better as well. 90lbs WOO HOO can't wait to get there!!!!! Take Care.
  14. I was thinking the same thing Breezy as you said above. Seems as though he is saying that once you lose to your goal and are at the point that you have flabby skin....that you MUST build back up muscle mass that was lost through your weight loss journey through strength training and burn the fatty deposits that are underneath the loose flabby and drooping skin...saying that you can tell this is evident because the flabby skin is "thick" and once the fat underneath it is lost it will be paper thin like the skin on your hands for example. In conclusion by burning ALL of the fat out.....through building more lean muscle mass which burns more calories and fat,,,,the skin that is left will shrink back a whole lot closer to it's previous state before you gained all of the weight and that surgical removal is not as necessary as people think, hmmmm??? Sounds good anyway LOL
  15. Same here!!!! CAN EAT MORE DURING CYCLE???? GO FIGURE..... and I stall 3 days before and don't lose anything.....gain a couple pounds and about 4 days later I lose the 2 lbs I gained plus about 3 more. Every time I have dieted in the past this also happened so I should be used to it right? NOT....IT IS ONE OF THOSE THINGS THAT A WOMAN JUST DOESN'T GET USED TO I GUESS!!!! LOL
  16. I RECENTLY READ THIS ARTICLE ON HOW TO POSSIBLY PREVENT TOO MUCH EXCESS LOOSE SKIN WHILE LOSING A LARGE AMOUNT OF WEIGHT. DON'T KNOW IT IT COULD REALLY WORK OR NOT BUT IT SOUNDS INTERESTING. WHAT DO YOU THINK??? http://www.bodyfatguide.com/LooseSkin.htm
  17. When I saw your post I was so happy and excited for you :-) I haven't seen a number with a 1 in front on the scales myself in 18 years, so I know how happy you are !!!
  18. Thanks! I messed up somehow trying to post above (oops) ..... Anyway I really like the site
  19. Well I feel you on that decision. I personally did not tell my BF whom is one of the sweetest people you could ever meet, BUT the only thing is that she is extremely close with all of her aunts and they all talk entirely too much if you know what I mean LOL. I knew that sooner or later she would tell one of them and then the whole world "that surrounds me" would know! However, I do think that she would have been really supportive and probably would have decided to have the surgery herself because she is over weight also. I had a BF in the past who was negative and non supportive about anything that went well in MY life. Go figure..........I let that friendship die off thank goodness. What is the point in having a best friend if they aren't going to act like a best friend!
  20. WAY TO GO GIRL!!!!:Dancing_biggrin::Dancing_chief::Dancing_furious::Dancing_confused::Dancing_hmm::Dancing_jimlad::Dancing_O_o::Dancing_peevedoff::Dancing_wub:
  21. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:bananajump::bananalama::bananadoggywow:
  22. I totally had the same problems with protein as you and Rev Me Up! Couldn't even choke it down, to me they are all disgustingly gross!!! Once I started my mushies phase I too ate the soft meats and cheeses, scrambled eggs and soups that had more protein than others. You will get it in before you know it!
