  1. Thank you!!!!!
  2. Well today is my 1 year band anniversary. I guess I expected to be at my goal by now since I only wanted to lose 85-90 pounds but I have managed to get off 53 pounds so I guess if you add that up its about a pound a week. I feel amazing I love the way I look and the way clothes Fit me. I guess the only thing that really bothers me is what number the scale shows! I want it to say 150 but it won't go past 175 but I am Very close and I know I will be there one day! I haven't been working at it as hard as I could have here lately due to pinch nerve, cyst on ovaries and possible endometriosis! I'm a ball of mess! Just happy I have lost what I have and I'm not going back!!!
  3. I have the same problems! Im rarely hungry but it's a constant battle of mind hunger! Wanting it because it's their and it looks soooo good! I'm horrrrible at controlling myself! I'll eat just to eat and then I kick myself everytime! Im pretty sure I'm in the green zone because I'm rarely ever hungry but I need to work on my head! I'm home all day with my 3 young kids 1,4, and 5 yr old an they are constantly eating and it always looks so good! Need to start finding something productive to do during the day to keep me busy! July 20 will be my 1 year since I've been banded and I'm still fighting head hunger :/ good luck!
  4. It's so weird!!!! I hate when it does that!
  5. On Wednesday I easily ate a crispy chicken salad Well come Thursday I thought I had so much luck on Wednesday getting to eat the salad I tried again and I couldn't get 6 bites down I literally threw up all the food. Does not drinking enough fluid one day make your band tighter or "dry" so it's harder for things to go down? Because I know I didn't drink near enough fluid yesterday.
  6. July 20, 2011 here and I'm down 51 pounds.
  7. What website? I would like to read about that!
  8. Does your food get stuck at all If your not careful?
  9. It will get easier once you start getting fills!
  10. I'm at 7.5 cc in my 10cc band and I'm pretty restricted! But I know I could probably use one more fill! Everyone is different with their restriction though and I'm sure you will hear that many more times!
  11. Thank you all for you response! I guess that is the answer! More and different exercises! Its so dang hot to do anything outside around here in texas and the only time I have to get to the gym is after work at night around 1030 so I guess I will have to start going again and more often! It was so much easier when I didn't have to exercise as much lol but I know it doesn't work that way! Grrr! I love the way I look but I hate that the scale doesn't say what I want it to! Does this make sense? Anyway I am going to up my gym work outs and I will go from there! I really do appreciate everyone taking the time to reply!
  12. I'm sick of trying and trying and getting no results. Makes me want to give up! I always do really good losing weight the first 2 weeks after my fill, I lose about 5-7 pounds after each fill then it stops until I get another fill! I am 20 pounds from my goal an I can't get there! I hate feeling full as weird as that sounds because I feel like I'm going to gain weight if im full. I think I am overly obsessed and it's really driving my crazy. I was on a 4 months plateua from feb to beginning of June when I got my fill and I went from 186.0 to 180.0 and I can't get past these few pounds they fluctuate between 182-179! 2 weeks after my fill I got TOM and have been having trouble since then. I'm just getting worn out. Any advice?
  13. I am the same exact way. I'll do good with eating And exercise for a few days And lose a few pounds then I'll go back to bad habits and I'll gain those few pounds back. I don't know what my problem is. It's annoying. I'm annoying myself lol
  14. Awesome job!!!!! You will get there before you know it!
  15. Wow!!! 44 pounds in 4 weeks?!? That is truly amazing almost sounds impossible!!! Your weight loss will slow down as you get further into this. But once you get fills you will startin losing again! I went for 3 months with no weight lose after 6 months post op but after I got a fill I started losing again! Ive lost 50 pounds in 11 months but I started off at 230 so I don't need to lose but 70 pounds or so! Everyone is different! Great job an keep it up!!!!
  16. Congrats!!!!! That's wonderful!!! It feels so great to feel sexy again!!!!!!
  17. I am also PBing I hope for it to stop soon
  18. Yeah it's so discouraging I was losing so good ounces to a pound every 2 days and now I've gained 3 lbs since TOM is here ugh!!!! I just hope it goes away fast because I need to see results like I was having lol
  19. I finally hit 179 after being 185 for 3 months and TOM hit the day after and now I'm back to 182 ugh! How much do you usually gain during TOM?!
  20. Congrats!!! Why do you say it almost killed you? Lol just wondering??
  21. I am the same exact way...I weigh every morning, after every potty break and when i get home from work. I just cant stop!!!! how do you keep yourself from doing it?
