I'm not familiar with that company, but two plastic surgeons whom A LOT of bariatric patients have used are Francisco Saucedo in Monterrey and Laura Carmina Cardenas in Tijuana.
here's Dra. Carmina Cardena's site. So far I haven't found one for Dr. Saucedo but will keep looking. It could be he doesn't have one -- or it also could be that he's now retired. I'll check
    https://www.beauty-enhance.com/
Here it is - Dr. Sauceda's site (I guess?) Hmmm....looks like he's scheduling under this group now. Maybe because of a decline in business during the worst of the pandemic? Not sure.

I saw my rheum. this morning. We just lowered my Lyrica -- from 100 x2 to 75 x2, and we might be able to take it down to 50 x2 next month! The more weight I take off, the easier it is on my body so far. It doesn't take the zapping away (I had shingles three times (once on my head), think it might have triggered that part - the zapping in one spot on my head)..but my tender spots, some aren't as tender! He says with less pressure/swelling inside my body, it's probably helping. He suspects when I get below 200 (30 pounds away) I'll see another big improvement.

And like Bill and Stacy already said, for any info you can write to plastics@bariatricpal.com or join my group, I try to be as useful as I can to help everyone make more informed decisions on Plastic surgery after weight loss . I liked that someone used the word transparency ! I'm all for it , you can talk to all or most of My patients also on the FB group, and you can even see some of the surgeries on my Instagram live when some patients allow us to show it.

I think this depends on what you are consistent in doing - consistently low or missing doses isn't a good thing! More important is being consistent with your lab work to get the feedback as to what is needed as things progress. One is usually given a baseline supplement protocol to start with (typically something like 2 Multivitamins, an ADEKs tablet (the fat soluble Vitamins A,D,E,& K in a "dry" or Water soluble form since the DS malabsorbs fats) and the multiple Calcium and Iron doses during the day and maybe a few other select items like zinc or magnesium. Then things get tailored as labs dictate over time; frequently people may need less A and E but more D and K than the combined ADEKs provides, so go with separate vitamins for those. There may be other potential deficiencies that can sneak in that are more individual (my wife, 12 years out on a DS, tends to be low on potassium so she supplements that, but that's uncommon). It's the labs that do the most to prevent problems in the long term.

Today is another painful days. However I am going to try to swim however very low impact. I see a pain specialist on Monday and I'm hoping that perhaps they can pull all of my issues together and come up with a better so-called pain cocktail. I want the pain to go away but be able to have a clear mind which is difficult. I also have asked my doctor to look up for my file and see if my gastric sleeve can be converted to the duodenal switch. It has a higher success rate for weight loss and long-term results as far as keeping the weight off. It is what I actually asked for and the doctor would not do it. When I went to my check up yesterday they were disappointed in my weight loss so far even though I've been following the directions as best I can. Since I saw the nurse practitioner I learned that my doctor in the group doesn't do the duodonel switch and it was another. However my doctor didn't refer me to the other doctor so I have asked that the other doctor review my file to see if I would be a candidate as I matchup for everything in the written literature stating I would be a good candidate. I'll let you know how it goes.

Something else to consider getting is a shower chair. You can get them cheap online or at Walmart. 20 days out from surgery and I am still using mine as I tend to get a little dizzy still and it makes for a safer environment for washing my hair and shaving my legs. While your bandages are in place your doctor most likely won't allow you to sit in a bath so that's why I chose a chair.

Hey girl! So I'm 5 months post op and I've lost 102 pounds since surgery. And honestly speaking I hit a stall to like in my third month and I was doing ALL the right things! Exercising and drinking lots of Water. But just like u it was hard to get food in throughout he day. And in the third month I stalled and had like ONE pound weight loss! Smh! When the doctor saw me for my third month check up he told me exactly what your doctor told u. So I planned my meals (NOT BIG PORTIONS) and ate 6 very small meals throughout the day. I did that for 2 weeks and BOOM. 10 pounds shedded right off. Granted exercise is very important...but for the first few months (6 or7) your main focus should be what u eat and your fluids! Best of luck hun! You got this!!

Baby powder and compression wear... would be interested to know if there are other solutions...

Hi jadeskys, I have Fibromylgia also plus Psoriasis arthritis and Osto arthritis. I know tat you proablly have been told that exercise is the key to helping us with our Fibro. I got so tired of hearing that but...now I know it is true!! My pain isn't gone by no means but man o mighty has it got better!! You are early out from your WLS. You need to just push yourself to get in your fluids as you already know from being in the hospital. My Suregon always told me that fluids and the Protein is what we need to concentrate on. The protein helps with healing and it doesn't take long to get dehydrated for sure. Your post sounds like mine. LOL I do still have some problems with my Blood pressure but I am so much better. I use to take 12 different medication. I was so insulin resistant I couldn't get my blood sugars under control I was on 100units of Levermire 2 times a day plus 500mg of Meteformin 2 times a day. I am off all diabetes meds, I take 4 precriptions now. Of course my Vitamins. Here are my STATS: HW 249# (I had lost from 285#'s before my WLS) SW 232 LW 117# CW 125 I lost down to my lowest of 117#s which means I had lost 132#'s but I did gain 8#'s back. Which is and was totally ok with myself and my DR. Just KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE PRIZE keep doing everything your Surgeon 's guidelines and it will work out. I hope you can get to feeling beter so you can do more and this will help with your FIBRO, depression and anxity. I have so many illness like you. depresson, fibro, high blood pressure, anxiety, and panic attacks BTW your Wl is good. You are just 1 day shy of being a month. When have you been able to lose weigght and keep it off? If you are like myself, I have lost 100's of #'s over and over again. Hang tight you will get there. This is a journey not a quick fix. Hugs you've got this!!!

    Hi beautiful!!
You're so funny. I wish I could help you with your height and age goals but I think that's out of my reach. I'm sure your amazing and lovely just the way you are. Plus being tall isn't that great, I'm taller than all the men I want to go out with!!
Pizza on the way home from the hospital... depends on why you went to the hospital. If you were there having wls surgery hahaha no. If you were there visiting a sick friend than yes by all means!
I had plastics in Mexico and paid 13,500 for a neck lift, breast lift, and Tummy Tuck. It all came out absolutely amazing. My surgeon was the best of the best. Worth every penny.
My bariatric surgery was complicated because I had to have my bypass reversed and converted to a sleeve. I had seven surgeries in all. Bypass, gallbladder removal, exploratory, reversal and conversion to a sleeve, stricture dialation, granuloma in my belly button, and plastics. I couldn't eat solid food for almost a year and became extremely malnourished. During the course of the early surgeries I became physically addicted to narcotics. I had to go to detox to get off of them. Also wls triggered anorexia for me and I had to get treatment for that. So yeah. Complicated. Not to mention the huge life altering experience weight loss can be.
The hardest part for me has been maintaining without continuing to diet. I realized I could not continue to live in a diet mentality or I would either remain anorexic or regain all of my weight. I had to get therapy and learn to eat intuitively. I also had to let go of trying to have the perfect body and obsessing about my weight. I had to decide to allow my body to choose its desired weight without interference from me and to be body positive and embrace health at every size.
I would say thank you to keeping up the good job... but this isn't a job. This is life. Weight is not your "job". We weren't out on this planet to be skinny and perfect. There are a million other more important things in life than what size ones body is. It's wonderful to have a good relationship with your body- practice self care and self love. But treating your bodies shape like it's your job to make it perfect and it's something that must be done in order to be a valid person... no. Life is so much more than that.
I am very happy with my body right now but I have accepted that I am so much happier letting go of perfection. If I gain some weight back... that's okay. I deserve to be happy, nourished, and my body deserves to be healthy.

Hi all- I'm a vet, had my wls in 2014. Lost to goal and then some and have successfully maintained. I have also had all my plastic surgery and am just living a happy life now.
I am here because I want to be supportive of others. Bariatric surgery was very complicated for me and I feel I have a lot to contribute no matter where you are on your journey because I have really struggled myself. I want to be there for newbies and other vets who may need support down the line.

This surgey changed my life, almost cost me my life, and gave me back my life. If you want to talk I am here and never going to judge you.

I'm in the same boat as you! And 3 weeks post op to the day and weigh 2 pounds more than I did a few days ago. We have to remember that gains at this stage are most likely hormonal/water weight. It's highly unlikely that we're consuming enough calories to gain fat (1 pound of fat=3500 Calories).

If you're easily anxious like me and also following a low carb diet, you could choose to buy some ketone strips. A bottle of them is inexpensive. You just pee on one and it'll tell you if your body is releasing ketones or not (ketones are one sign that your body has turned to burning fat for energy)

    Good luck!

Your weight will fluctuate during the day. My clothes can even add 5 pounds to my total. So just keep following the program guidelines and you will do well.
Some times individuals will stress about their daily weight readings. Stressing can sometimes add weight. So many individuals restrict themselves to checking their weight once per week or once per month.

Yes, of course it is. We don't lose linearly all the time, there are periods where your body needs to adjust, or times where you are losing fat, but gaining muscle. Be patient, and stay away from the scale for a bit!

Yesterday was my last skin removal procedure… vertical inner thigh lift. I'm pretty swollen, but that's pretty standard after surgery. He removed 2.6lbs of skin & decided to do some Lipo (that was an added bonus!) & removed 1600ml of fat. They put me in my compression garment while I was still in the OR, so I have no idea how I look! I get to shower tomorrow, so that'll be my first look at the new me.
    Just some history:
    5'4"
    HW 292.6
    SW (VSG) 268
    GW 175
    CW 148 (pre-thigh lift)
    Fleur de lis TT/LBL 2/23/17
    Breast lift (no implant) 4/18/17
    Inner thigh lift 5/16/17
I'll probably get on the scale tomorrow, and I expect it'll be back in the 150s because of all of the swelling… but it'll come back down soon enough. Can't wait to see where I land!
