  5. Yes I drink one every morning. I like the chocolate carnation instant breakfast with some skim milk on my way to work around 7am. It holds me over until I have a snack around ten
  6. I had my surgery on a tues and was back to work that following Monday. I would say I was at 100% 3 weeks where I felt no pain. Hang in there it gets better
  7. I'm sorry meant to write GasX. The strips you put on your tongue like Listerine strips. Life savers guys!
  8. I defiantly wish I brought Gas strips to the hospital. The gas pain was the hardest part for me. I thought it was pain from the surgery but turns out it was gas. Also when I was able to start sleeping on my stomach I would lay face down on a heating pad right on my stomach that helped me soo much to relieve gas. I also found hot liquids like soup or tea helped to loosen and relax the band and cold water or ice pops made it tight and uncomfortable when I was healing. Good luck and congrats on the first day of your new life
  9. I basically lived off Carnations Instsnt breakfast. Chocolate vanilla strawberry are delicious I still drink them 5 months post op. also tomato soup was like a steak dinner to me. Oh and crystal light ice cubes crushed up helped with the urge to crunch on something. Good luck!!
  10. The last week will go by a lot faster hang in there your so close! We all had to do it it sucks but it's worth it. If you can get thru this the band will be a breeze! Good luck Xoxo
  11. Thank you so much everyone =))
  12. Here's one more of me today
  13. Hey guys! Just thought I would share my 5 month before an after pics with everybody. I got surgery 2/28/12 weighing 235 and I weighed myself this morning at 192.5! So I treated myself to shopping and tried on not a 2X or even 1X a frigen XL bathing suit.. Are you kidding me?? I hope this helps someone who's considering getting this surgery because it was the best decision I ever made (tough and frustrating at times yet still the best) I have a whiiiles to go till I'm at goal 130lbs but this is the movitation I need. I feel good, i actually sleep since my sleep apea is GONE and whenever I need support come right to this website. Love my band! Xoxo
  14. Wow thanks every one you made me feel a lot better! Your right I shouldn't be so hard on myself and maybe once a week eat a small amount of something kind of bad. I just wana succeed and be healthy and I was discouraged I couldn't turn down onion rings and I don't even like onion rings?? Lol your so right I'm only human and it's back on track tomoro! So thankful for this site I don't have anyone to talk to bout this so all your words helped a lot
  15. Guys I cheated I had a grilled cheese and tomato with ONION rings what the hell was I thinking?!!? The whole time I'm thinkin I shouldn't be eatin this but I couldn't control the urge to eat somethin bad! I've done so good since my surgery in February and now I feel I just ruined everything and I feel gross an fatter than pre op. should I jut exercise more today? Maybe smaller dinner tonight? I know everyone cheats once a while but i haven't and I'm feeling kinda depressed. Losing control is a horrible feeling especially after having surgery to help lose weight yet I stuff my face with greasy onion rings wtf??? Any words of wisdom thnx in advance
