I remember my boobs were only skin and nipples. Yuck!
I love them now.
Only a artistic surgeon could work with the tiny breast tissue I had left, and make them beautiful and symetrical without implants.
All of the other plastic surgeons told me I HAD to have implants.
I really love my boobs now!

S M H, really hard. Why do people feel the need to ask people such personal questions? Why do people feel they have to share ANYTHING about themselves? Both questions baffle and annoy me, greatly. I told absolutely no one I've had surgery. There was only one reason. It was absolutely no one's business. Including the teenage I am still parenting. From the day he was born I made sure his financial future was secured and have guardianship in place for him. I could leave my house any day and never return, due to mishap. While I hoped and believed I would return to my child, and my adult children, I did not share my decision to have surgery with them. Almost nine months later, it was the best decision I made. I did not have to endure foolish comment and nonsense from anyone, and NO, I didn't need the support. I went after this process like it was my J O B! I prepared to the best of my ability and self cared from day one. I am grateful that I've had minimal complications and my life is SO much better now. Ok, so the mini rant is over. Told no one and never plan to.

Thanks for sharing! Your befores look a lot like I look now... Not much subcutaneous fat left just wrinkly skin. Your bra size is similar too and I don't think I want implants either (though my husband is thinking otherwise...) so it's nice to see what happens without them!

Ha! That was so me after I lost my initial weight if you look back at those August, 2011 photos I posted. That padded bra is the only thing saving me at that point! Now that I have my implants, I can't imagine that I ever lived without them. I see old pics of myself (I have some nude pre-op pics as well) and I want to cry that my breasts were ever that pathetic!

Everyone looks so great and congrats I'm looking into a Tummy Tuck now .

I know what you are talking about with cut under the butt, it's part of his spiral lift. I don't believe I will be getting that...But my original surgeon wanted to do a 2 part butt lift with a cut like that in the second part. But since I am not going back I don't think I will be having it done. I don't really care about having a round plump rear...I'm more concerned about having skinny thighs! That would be a dream...

I had my LBL with Dr Victor Gutierrez in TJ and he did a wonderful job..not only a board certified PS but he also has a specility in Micro-Surgery so his fine detail sewing is flawless, which was very important to me, as I have seen some pretty ugly looking scaring and mine is hardly even noticiable now, which is still under a year out.

I completely understand. I was always hungry! Always! I got the sleeve when I was still breastfeeding. I was still hungry even right after the surgery. It is just something you have to endure. I knew breast feeding was the best I could give my baby, so I refuse to stop until he stopped on his own.

Breastfeeding hunger is no joke. The key is small portions, Protein. A breastfeeding mother needs about 500 more calories a day. That is a lot for us with small tummies. Try foods that are a bit higher in good fats, like avocado, coconut oil, and nuts.

Plastic surgery is usually the next big step. Mexico plastic surgeons are very popular on this site and people have been very respectable about our choices, so no worries there (smile)
I chose Dr. Victor Gutierrez because he was super educated (in Jersalem) and extremely caring with tons of experience. He is located in Zona Rio, Tijuana, Mexico. He is also a micro surgeon which means his incisions are extremely straight, invisible sutures, and after healing, scars are close to invisible.

If he has never said anything like this to you before, nor demonstrated unkindness, and it is not a usual trend in your marriage or his normal way of speaking to you, then just give him some time.
Don't get me wrong — It was a very hurtful thing for him to say, especially right after your surgery. Unthoughtful indeed!
Many men I have heard refuse to touch their wives after surgery, because they think they will hurt them. Actions speaks louder than words. How is he treating you? Helping you? Did this behavior start long before the surgery? These are very important things that must to be considered.
Remember, no matter what, please take very good care of yourself and your health during your recovery.
